The earth pit should be provided with a RCC earth pit cover 1:3:6-20MM agregates and including FI clamps 40x6mm -2nos.(4mm long each clamp)for protection and safe guard of terminals. In areas, where soil condition is bad, good earth is to be arranged to fill the excavated pits by mixing the same with back fill compound (BFC) 2 to 4 bags (as per soil conditions) extra per pit/ unit. Since earth electrode of the earthing system should be in direct contact with the ground, hence, materials which to be used in the earthing, should have good electrical conductivity & anti corrosion property in wide range of soil conditions and complete earthing system conforming to IS : 3034 complete all as specified and directed.\nMake:- INDELAG or ASHLOK or MACMET as approved by GE. \nNotes:(i) Cost of excavation and all earth work shall deemed to be included in the unit rate as quoted by the contractor. \n(ii) The earthing value of each earthing pit to be below 1 ?
