Supply of good quality top layer filter media for rapid sand filteration plant of effective size 0.45 to 0.70 mm from quarry at Jhasi with with placing in existing filter beds at Canal Based Water Works Lehroda. Filter media should be uniformily coefficient not less than 1.30 & not morethan 1.70 having celica content should be not less than 90% as per specification of filter media for rapid sand filteration plant complete in all respect. Shape size & quality of filter media sand should be as per norms given below:-\ni) Sand shall be hard and reistant quartzitc and pre of dust partcles, soft granite and dirt of every description\nii) Effective size of filter media shall be 0.45 to 0.70 mm\niii) Uniforminty coefficient shall not be more than 1.7 nor less than 1.3\niv) Ignition loss should not exceed 0.70% by weight \nv) Solublc friction in Hydroclone acid shall not exceed 5.00% by weight\nvi) Cilica content should be not less than 90.00%\nvii) Specific gravity shall be in the range 2.55 to 2.65\nviii) Wearing loss shall not exceed 3.00%\n
