(b) The tenderer shall be deemed to have visited the installation physically to assess the nature of duty to be performed and the contractor shall have no claim what so ever on account of any misunderstanding. (c) The tenderer before quoting the tender shall take into consideration that he may be called upon to do a particular emergent type of job at short notice. The contractor is expected to be ready with his material and man power to meet such an emergency while quoting his rates, in such case, the total time allowed will be just sufficient to carryout the repair and No claim shall be entertained at later stage on this account. (d) This job shall be of operation and maintenance of installation and upkeeping of installation, equipment and other items of inventory in safe custody. | |||
| 45 | 7 | (e) The installation shall not be left un-attended under any circumstances. If any loss occurs due to leaving the installation un-attended or theft, same shall be made good by the contractor failing which the items shall be arranged at risk and cost of contractor besides imposing penalty. (f) Contractor shall provide one set of mobile phones for each installation for receiving complaints without any extra cost and their number shall be intimated to the Engineer-in-Charge. (g) Contractor's quoted rate shall be deemed to have included the cost of stationery, protective clothing, gloves, torch & cells, tester/test lamp, including suitable / necessary T & P and any other required material for smooth functioning of the installations / Compliant Cells. | |||
| 46 | 8 | (h) General cleanliness of the premises, cutting of unwanted grass/plant, plantation of seasonal flower and keeping surrounding neat and clean is the responsibility of contractor. (j) The subject work shall be carried out as per site requirement or as mentioned in Schedule ‘A’ (k) The minor stores such as fuse wire, insulation tap, nut bolts etc required for maintenance shall be arranged by contractor without any extra cost to Govt and contractor quoted rates in Sch 'A' shall deemed to be included this factor. (l) Timing for 08 hrs shifts shall be decided by Engineer-in-Charge on handing over of site to contractor. | |||
| 47 | 9 | Important Note :- \n(a) The bid shall be trated as Non-bonafide on following reasons:- (i) Quoting Nil/ Zero against overhead & profit against OH & P. (ii) Quoting less than minimum wages as notified by concerned authority. (iii) Quoting LWC less than 1%. (iv) Quoting less / Nil against EPF, ESIC & Bonus wrt same as applicable according to total number of workmen/ wages as per instruction in vogue. (v) This work prominently involves items of outsourcing of services. therefore, the rate of GST shall be considered as 18% while quoting the bid. |
