2 1.2 (B) ALTERNATOR: Alternator suitable for continuous operation rated at 1500 RPM, 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire system, 50 Hz, 0.8 p.f in SPDP enclosure , self excited & self-regulated , brusless, foot mounted in single/doublel bearing construction on end shields conforming to IS:4722, BS: EN 60034-1and will be suitable for tropical condition.\n(C) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE :The acoustic enclosure shall be designed and manufactured confirming to relevant standards suitable for outdoor installation exposed to weather conditions, and to limit noise level of <75 db(A) at a distance of 1metre from the enclosure as per CRCB II norms. The enclosure shall be fabricated out of CRCA sheet of thickness not less than 2.0 mm thick and shall be powder coated. \n(D) AMF CONTROL PANEL :Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of AMF (Automatic Mains failure ) panel suitable for generating set of capacity 100 KVA factory made, fabricated out of CRCA sheet (1.6 mm thick) of suitable size, totally enclosed, dust, damp and vermin proof free standing floor mounted type & front operated , degree of protection required will be IP-42 conforming to IS:2147 having the following features/facilities :-\n(i) Control system and components such as relays, contactors, timers etc both for automatic operation or mains failure and as well as for manual operation ; (ii) Necessary instruments and accessories such as voltmeter, power factor meter, KW meter, KWH meter, Ammeter, Frequency Meter etc. in one energy analyser unit with selector switch to obtain the reading of desired parameters; (iii) Necessary indication lamps, fuses, terminal blocks, push buttons, control switches etc, as required; (iv) Necessary engine/generating set shut down devices due to fault/abnormalities;(v) Necessary visual audio alarm indication and annunciation facility, as specified; (vi) Necessary battery charger; (vii) Necessary excitation control and voltage regulating equipment; (viii) Necessary breakers as specified in the Schedule of work; (ix) All necessary internal wiring , connections etc as required. \n(NOTES :- \n(i) Cost of fuel and accessories required shall be deemed to be included in qouted unit rate. \n(ii) PCC 1:2:4, type B-2 foundation block of suitable size & approximate depth of 300 mm /as recommended by the manufacturert, to provide level surface for mounting the DG Set shall be deemed to be included inthe quoted unit rate.\n(iii) Testing of DG set on artificial load shall be carried out for 12 hours with 10% over load for one hour. 2

5 3 Supply, installation, testing and commissioning totally enclosed metal clad switchgear, Indoor type, comprising vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) panel 11 KV ,630 Amp, AC, 3 phase, 3 wire 50 Hz having a fault level of 350 MVA at 11 KV, floor mounted, extensible pattern, horizontal draw out, horizontal/vertical isolation type, mechanically operated, with electrical and mechanical interlock and automatic safety shutter gear including pad locking arrangement, isolation plugs assembly of 3 interrupters complete with fault indicator, spring charge/discharge indicator, DC tripping auto operated motorized charging system including over current earth fault relay, auxiliary relay for alarm system (IDMT relay or electronic relay with minimum 2 elements for over load current setting 50 to 200 percent and one element for earth fault protection setting 20 to 80 percent ), Voltmeter & Ammeter of digital type of suitable range, confirming to IS:3427-1997 comprising of the following complete all as specified and as directed:The VCB panel shall be confirming to IEC 62271-100 & IEC 62271-200 (Make- ANDREW YULE/SIEMENS/\nSCHNEIDER/ABB/BHEL/L&T) :- \n 5 1 Each
6 4 M & L plate earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts , check nuts and washers etc made of GI & connected to earthing test point and earth dolly, including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 chamber/pit with RCC 1:1.5:3,type A-1 cover slab of size 42 x 42 x 10 cm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 100 mm c/c both ways with lifting handle, 40 mm bore GI (light grade) pipe for earth lead protection & 20 mm bore GI (medium grade) watering pipe , 22 gauge PGI sheet funnel with wire mesh, charcoal dust and common salt 15 cm thick in alternate layers all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I as specified and directed.\n(Note: PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 0.5 mtr away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit itself and extra cost due to additional length of water pipe and fitting shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate). 7 12 Each Set
