| 2 | 1.01 | The Benzene Storage Tank, T-5201 is having 7.1Mtr height and 6.0Mtr Diameter. Scope of this repair work includes: -(i) Replacement of the existing bottom shell course plate(up to a height of 500 MM approx.- plate thickness 8 MM)including nozzles, if any, with pad plates (ii) Annular portion of the bottom plate, approximately 655mm from outer periphery, with packing plate all around using CS plate thickness of 10 MM (iii) Fabrication and replacement of CURB Angle.(iv) Fabrication and replacement of roof plate, of thickness 6.0 MM, including all nozzles with pad plates; Work shall be executed strictly as per the Drawing No: FPTS-GA-52-1642- (a) dismantling of existing damaged portion of shell course as specified for replacement and fabrication& erection of new one which includes cutting and rolling of plates, edge preparation, welding etc. complete;(b) All shell to shell joints shall be butt welded and shell to bottom plate joints shall be fillet welded from both sides, after proper edge preparations;(c)Provide adequate temporary stiffeners and supports before taking each cut outs and clear them afterwards;(d) Shell cutting edges, bottom plate, supports etc. shall be ground, beveled and levelled exactly to suit the newly fabricated shell segments;(e) 10 MM plate-to-plate joints in new annular segment shall be of lap-cum-butt weld and that to the existing 6 MM plate shall be of lap weld; (f) 10mm packing plate to 6MM bottom plate joint shall be tack welded after leveling; (g) 6 MM roof plate joints shall be lap welded on annular joints and butt welded on transverse joints; (h) 65 x 65 x6 Curb angles shall be fabricated and welded to shell plate and with roof plate, as detailed in the drawing / instructions; (i)Provide pad plates for nozzles and structural supports for the existing / new pipelines all around the shell as per the existing pattern.(Approximate weight of plates for the repair work:5 MT). | item1 | 1 | LS |
