Cutting open test pit at the wheel track and get the details of the layers ( thickness and type) of pavement composition -at one location as suggested by the engineer in charge carefully by excavating pit of area 1 m x 1 m using jackharmer. Density measurement at top subgrade layer by sand replacement method and collection of subgrade soil for detailed material charactraization as per proforma 3 (a) , filling the test pit with GSB, WBM, WMM, bituminous material and compacting through manual method each unboundlayer at the same line and level filling of bituminous layer as directed by the Departmental officers at site and reporting the pavement composition with photographs and meassurement specifing the type of layer. ( 2 Pits a day)
