| 1 | 1.1 | Construction of 03 No RCC OHSRs of various Capacities with sill levels (not to be less than) and FSLs (not to be less than) from ground level in villages mentioned as follows, complete with external RCC stair case with landing slabs at each staging, RCC roofs, ventilator, single manhole cover, lightening conductor, plinth protection, water level indicator, prov., fixing and laying of Rising Main and Delivery Main to be connected to existing pipeline network etc. complete duly tested and handed over in proper working order to the satisfaction of Engineer-Incharge. The construction of OHSRs shall be as per standard drawings/design of DWSS uploaded with this bid document. However, if (i) the height of Sill Level(s) and FSL(s) of OHSR(s) to be constructed is more than the standard drawings/design. (ii) the bearing capacity at site after allotment comes out to be less than 8.75 t/sq.m.\nThen the contractor shall submit revised design from reputed Engineering Institute to fulfill the requirements of additional height and less Bearing Capacity at site. However, key parameters of OHSR(s) like tank portion diameter and center to center distance of columns etc. shall NOT be reduced. The revised structural design shall NOT be downward revised in any case. The responsibility for structural safety of OHSR(s) shall be of the contractor. Nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor on account of increase in height of OHSR(s) and cost of submission of revised design/drawings. However, in case of variation due to upward revision in the design due to lesser bearing capacity encountered at site than 8.75t/sqm¬¬, then the additional quantities for items of work which that could have to be executed on account of less Bearing Capacity than 8.75 t/sqm shall be paid at CSR plus ceiling premium applicable at the time of tendering.Cost of conducting soil bearing capacity test shall be borne by the bidder. The lump sum rates should also included the cost of all material like cement, steel, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, scaffolding, shuttering labour etc, whatsoever. Providing and installing inlet, outlet, scour and over flow D/F DI Pipes as per (IS 8329 with latest amendments), including the cost of DI Specials like Duck foot bend, DI Double Flange S.Vs., one each with inlet, outlet, scour pipe along with construction of suitable size haudies and C.I/D.I D/F expansion Joints, Bell mouth and Flanged Puddle Collar. All the pipes & specials shall be duly ISI marked.
