Soil Investigation For Augmentation Of Cable Storage Facility At Eps Department At Naval Dockyard Mumbai , Schedule 'A' ( List Of Items Of Works ) , Material And Labour For Carrying Out Soil Investigation By Drilling Bore Holes Of 100 Mm Dia In Any Type Of Soil Or In Rock Below The Existing Ground Level , Conducting In Situ Spt Including Taking Out Undisturbed Samples & Disturbed Samples As Per Is At Every 1 . 5 M Depth , Transportation To Laboratory And Conducting The Following Tests Complete All As Specified:- ( I ) Standard Penetration Test As Per Is 2131 ( Ii ) Box Shear Test As Per Astm D3080 ( Iii ) Grain Size Analysis ( Iv ) Wet And Dry Density ( V ) Liquid Limit And Plasticity Index ( Vi ) Ground Water Table ( Vii ) Spt Chart , ( Viii ) Soil Classification ( Ix ) Direct Shear Tests Unconfined Compression Test ( As Applicable Samples Recovered From Spt Test ) ( X ) Bore Logging ( Xi ) Specific Gravity ( Xii ) Atterberg Limits ( Xiii ) Nature Moisture Content ( Xiv ) C & Phie Value ( Xv ) Chemical Analysis Of Water For Ph , Sulphates And Chlorides ( Xvi ) Any Other Test Not Specifically Mentioned Above But Required As Per Relevant Is . , ( B ) Analyzing Field Data Of Each Bore Hole And Making Soil Investigation Report For Deciding The Type Of Foundation Etc . Complete And Submission Of Detailed Soil Investigation Report Including Safe Bearing Capacity And Site Plan Indicating Exact Location Of Bore Holes In Triplicate . Notes :- ( I ) Location Of Bore Holes Shall Be Decided In Consultation With Ge And Design Cell Of Dgnp Mumbai . ( Ii ) Anticipated Depth Of Bore In Soil Is Approximately 20 M . ( Iii ) Drilling Bore Hole In Rock Shall Be Minimum 3 M In Hard Confined And Continuous Rock .
