2 2 M & L for removing existing treatment and filling contraction (Dummy) joint 150mm deep and 6 to 8 mm wide (using diamond cutter) as soon as concrete is strong enough to with stand edge spalling i.e., first cut as early as possible but not later than 24 hours and filled with expanded polyurethane foam (armourboard) appliying bond breaker tape on top of armour board for complete width of joint, provision of closed cell polyurethane back up rod 10mm dia and sealed with 16mm (depth minium above back up rod) pitch free polyurethane sealant confirming to BS- 5212 (Type FB) priming the side with masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental\nspillage of sealent on top of surface and to give a neat finish to the salent and removing the masking tape after sealant applied the sealant should have MAF (+/-) 30% and manufactures warranty of 10 years as used in international Air port in India, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 100 X RM
3 3 M & L for removing existing treatment and filling construction joint 28mm deep x 10mm wide and sealed with pitch free polyurethane sealant confirming to BS-5212 (Type FB) priming the side and provision of closed cell polyurethane back up rod 12mm dia and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent on top surface and to give to a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant appiled. The sealant should have MAF (+/-) 30% and manufactures warranty of 10 years as used in international Air port in India, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in- charge. 70 X RM
4 4 M & L for cutting/chipping off carefully the cracks of runway/taxi track (hard concrete surfaces) in uniform width of cross sectional area with depth of 2 cm, cleaning all dust, mud etc. Priming the cut portion of concrete surfaces with Flexopatch of make: M/s Chowksy and filling the cut portions of cracks to the required level to match with existing surfaces of concrete slab/pavement with flexopatch mortar complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. 7 Sqm
5 5 M & L for surface dressing n.exc 15cm deep in soft/loose soil including cleaning all grass, vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots and trees n.exc 30cm girth and removing rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area complete. 20000 Sqm
6 6 M & L for cleaning the surface with compressed air and making the surface free from dust by using brush and applying a coat of polymer modified bitumen emulsion (PMBE) by using self propelled bitumen emulsion distributor or towed bitumen emulsion pressure sprayer, equipped for sparying the material (binder) uniformly and mopping of diluted liquid in the ratio 1:1 of PMBE and water by weight @ minimum 0.50 Kgs of PMBE (i.e. 1.0 kg of diluted liquid) per sqm in one coat and ensure uniform finish of runway complete all as per manufactures instruction and all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.\nMake: Hincol CQS1h or equivalent product of Shell India Markets Pvt Ltd as specified and approve d by GE.\nNote: The Tenderer shall consider the following point/details while quoting the rate for the item:\n(i) No extra amount will be paid to the contractor if excess qty of PMBE used by the contractor is more than specified qty in the item. 28000 Sqm
