NOTE:- (a) The contractor shall provide two mobile numbers herein under through which the message regarding breakdown shall be notified to the contractor in an emergency:-\n(i) Mobile Number of electrician_______________ \n(ii) Mobile Number of helpers _______________ (b) Contractor may be asked to deploy electricians and helpers to rectify the breakdown within barest minimum time during night also, if required and on this account even extra man power is deployed to rectify the fault irespective of time and situation, nothing extra is admissible . (c) The Electricians/Helpers deployed shall have adequate experience of working on Live HT/LT lines from the approved agency. (d) Contractor shall be bound to made transportation available to attend the breakdown/complaints on notification of fault and the rate quoted shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tenderer. (iv) Contractor shall responsible for issuing hand gloves for HT/LT voltage,first aid kit, safety belt, gum boot and necessary T&P as required at site. (e) The contractor or his rep shall reach at the site of breakdown within one hour of notification of breakdown on telephone/email. In case the rep of contractor or contractor himself fails to reach at site of breakdown and not starts rectifying the fault ot attends breakdown within one hour, penalty of Rs 1500/- per hour per breakdown shall be imposed on this account. (f) The contractor or his authorized representative shall be solely responsible to take shut down of any feeder of any voltage under AGE Charduar area for repair & maint of any items and he himself be responsible for any accident or mishap due to any uncertain reason and no compensation in this regard shall be paid by the department for reason whatsoever. (g) Contractor shall be bound to follow the instructions as asked by the concern unit and he himself shall be responsible for any lapses in security/information of national interest. NOTE: (i) Excavation and earth work, HT/LT Cables, Cable jointing kit, Brick/Tile Protection shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of these BOQs. \n 180 Each Job
2 2 M&L for taking down the defective unserviceable transformer from existing site with the help of man power & chain pully block or by crane etc including disconnecting all electrical and mechanical connections from the site and transportation to workshop for repair and return back for installation of its original position/location after repairing from wksp of capacity 50 to 315 KVA ( rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation, T&P and man power) complete all as specified and directed. 4 Each Job
3 3 M&L for opening of top cover by unscrewing nut, bolts & washers etc and taking out core assy from tank by disconnecting from tap changer HT & LT side bushing stud to outside by dismantling the channel and disconnecting star delta connection of capacity 50 to 315 KVA including draining out complete transformer oil at workshop from transformer under repair and storing the same in suitable container (container to be provided by the contractor to keep aside for re-use after repair) and lifting of core assy and other items for inspection/examination in wksp. cleaning the transformer chamber (body) inside and out side throughly with emery paper and cloth then checked the winding and other worn-out parts such as HT/LT coils silicon stamping and other connected items as Tap-changer, breather assembly etc and replacement of HT and LT coil winding with DPC enamelled copper/ strand/bar/strip of adequate size and number of turn complete and connected to existing serviceable strip by jointing with soldring and re insulated of cotton tape over strip including using insulating material like varnish to limb coil fire proof type and sleeves etc by drying and baking of Insulating material in heating chamber in adequate temprature Reassembling the transformer LT/HT connection with help of soldering,Testing of transformer after reassembly complete on No load at wkshop and on load at site incl painting to the transformer with super enammed paint complete all as specified and directed. Note: Repairing of transformer have to be completed within 7 days in all circumstances and no extra cost shall be paid beyond 7 days of installation.Moreover contractor shall not be allowed to shift the hired transformer until it is replaced with repaired one.If anything goes wrong with hired transformer no extra cost shall be paid to repair the hired transformer.
