6 7 INSTALLATION OF SUBMARINE PIPELINE (FROM PLEM TO LFP) Laying / installation of coated line pipe, associated fittings and accessories, etc. as per scope of work, specifications, drawings, other provisions of bid document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge within the provisions of contract document, including but not limited to carrying out the following: Pre-construction survey of submarine pipeline route; review of all documents, drawings, procedures, actual site installation activities etc by Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS), "Receiving and taking-over", handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Company supplied externally corrosion & concrete weight coated and bare line pipes and other materials from designated place(s) of issue / Company’s yard to Contractor's own stock-yard(s) / workshop(s) / lay barge / work-site(s); supply of all materials (except Company supplied materials), construction spreads, trenching & backfilling, all consumables, equipment, labour etc; Carrying out repairs of pipe and coating defects; Aligning, cutting and beveling (suitable for Automatic Welding) of pipes for welding and field adjustments, NDT of bevelled pipe ends, welding, carrying out nondestructive testing of welds as required including radiography etc.; Installation /laying of concrete coated pipes; Coating of all field weld joints & laying of pipeline on seabed / in trench from lay barge; Trenching / dredging in all types of soils & backfilling of trench as specified & indicated in drawings; installation of pipeline in shore approaches, setting up of winch pad system and other equipments, stringing & fabrication yard at LFP, arrangement of land required, fabrication of Long radius bends from free issue pipes; Fabrication, pre-testing & installation of flanged tie-in spool for pipeline tie-in with PLEM; supply and installation of Mud mat / support (ULO type) at touch-down point of each tie in spool and support near Tie-in-point / PLEM joint, carrying out cleaning, gauging, caliper pigging, hydrotesting; Carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works and all incidental works including repair of defects recorded during Caliper / gauge plate run, disposal of debris, restoration works and returning all surplus material including coated line pipe to company’s storage yard, as directed by Engineer-In-Charge; Obtaining work permits / NOC from various statutory authorities having jurisdiction, before execution of the work, and complying with all stipulation / conditions / recommendation of the said authorities; Preparation of as-built drawings, pipe-book and other records as per scope of work document no. 12 13 Laying / installation of concrete weight coated / bare pipe, associated fittings, flanges and accessories etc. for hook-up of offshore pipeline sections with existing onshore pipeline sections as per P&ID, specifications, drawings, other provisions of bid document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following: “Receiving and taking-over", handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Company supplied concrete coated / bare linepipes; Arrangement of all additional land required for Contractor's storage, fabrication and construction; supply of all materials (except Company supplied free issue materials and those specified subsequently in SOR) including fasteners, gaskets etc, consumables, equipment, labour, etc; clearing, grubbing, grading (as required) of Right of Use / Right of Way; Carrying out repairs of pipe and coating defects; internal cleaning of all pipes; re-bevelling as required; dismantling and reinstallation of 1 no. 42” size buried Isolation / Block Ball Valve with actuator (within LVS boundary), fabrication of bends as per site conditions from Company supplied bare linepipes, preparation of bevel at pipe ends, aligning, bending and cutting of pipes for welding and field adjustments, NDT of bevelled pipe ends, fabrication of tie-in spools for hook-up of as-laid offshore pipeline sections with existing onshore pipeline sections as per site conditions including cutting, edge preparation, fit-up, bending, pre-heating wherever required, welding, carrying out non-destructive testing of welds as required including radiography and providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables; Coating of all field weld joints, long radius bends, buried fittings etc.; Carrying out hydrostatic testing including air cleaning, flushing, filling, gauging as required, successful completion of hydrotesting of tie-in spools, de-pressurising, dewatering, including cutting of test header, re-bevelling as required; Repair of defects recorded during caliper / gauge plate run as required, erection of tie-in spools at all elevations including lowering in trench wherever required, backfilling; hook-up with existing onshore pipeline sections including fixing of all types of gaskets, studs and nuts of all sizes, tie-in joint welding (all tie-in joints shall be treated as golden joints and taken up for NDT accordingly), installation of markers, warning signs etc.; Final clean-up and restoration of bund / right of use, boundary wall etc. dismantled / damaged by contractor during construction including obtaining NOC from respective statutory authorities as required and disposal of debris and returning all surplus material to Company’s storage yard, as directed by Engineer-In-Charge; and complying with all stipulation / conditions / recommendation of the said authorities; Preparation of as-built drawings, pipe-book and other records complete in accordance with scope of work document no.
