Checking of Electrical System Network, it should cover substations, Sub Station equipments, AC Plants, Pump Houses, Reactive Power Compensation, Power Factor improvement in metering etc. \nTransformers (48 Nos): The audit scope should include study of 48 transformers with Ring Main units and Vacuum Circuit Breakers located at Air Force permises, their loading pattern, reconfiguration, renetworking, load balancing, losses and efficiency and possible suggestion to improve efficiency and life based on life cycle cost.\nElectrical motors & pumps (above 10HP): The operation of Electric motors/pumps should be studied using appropriate instrumentation support to assess the loading pattern, power factor, flow operating efficiency and other operational parameters. This should also include detailed study of the mechanical power transmission system to evolve suitable recommendations wherever feasible for energy efficiency improvements. \nStudy of cooling towers associated with central AC plants. This should include detailed study of the operational performance of the cooling towers through measurements of temperature difference, air/water flow rate to enable evaluate specific performance parameters like approach, efficiency etc.\n\nStudy of lighting system of Hangers and Blast Pens: A comprehensive study of the entire lighting system covering the light source (Lamps), luminiares (Reflectors etc), and the gears (ballsts) should be taken up. Besides this the illumination levels required viz-a-viz available should also be studied.\nStudy of air conditioning & refrigeration system: The study should involve name plate details comparison with analysis of various parameters like co-efficient of performance, tonnage delivered, effectiveness of the ducting etc of the air conditioning systems. Also the study should include the performance evalution of the allied system.\nGreen energy options and feasibility study.\nEnergy management policy and strategy.\nThe reports would highlight the energy conservation opportunities (ECO's) which are practically feasible in the plant along with the investments required and list of suppliers for installation of energy efficient equipments.\n
