Earth work in cutting or embankment in ordinary soil (Loam, Clay or sand) excavation to be in the form of Regular pit not exceeding 50cm in depth and earthwork in embankment to be in 20cm. layers including the ramming and dressing the surface to required levels slopes and also including 1.50 meter lift and 30meter lead. The earth from cutting to be used in making embankment or to be deposited as spoil bank within 30meter distance as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Excluding Royalty) S.I.No.253.
