Repairs Of Icgs C-424 At Haldia:- Hb-1004 Shipside, Deck Fittings, Superstructure, Compartments, Bilges, Underwater Hull And Appendages Survey. Survey By Approved Class Surveyor Is To Be Carried Out On Complete Underwater Area Including Water Jet Shafts, Sea Tubes, Sea Chest Gratings, All Underwater Fittings And Appendages, Ship Side, Main Deck, Super Structure, Complete Internal Deck, Compartments, Tanks, Void Spaces, Bilges, Davit, Bollards, Breathers And Deck Fittings. All The Strengthening Members And Weld Joints Are To Be Inspected For Any Dents/Weakening Of Weld Joint.HB-1005 UTG of hull Yard to undertake UTG points (500 Approx) in the damaged/affected area as per class surveyor recommendations. UTG report on thickness of hull indicating the renewal area including stiffeners and welds is to be rendered. Surveyor recommendation to be obtained post submission of UTG reports. HB-1014 Dent (approx 50 mm) and deep scratch on port side frame 16 to 19 on sheer strake. Damaged plate approximate area 2 Sqmtr, mat: aluminium marine grade – AA5083H116, Plate thickness – 6mm and stiffener to be cropped and renewed as per recommendation of class surveyor. HB-1015 Two stanchions on port side on frame no 14 and 10 uprooted from its base on main deck. Stanchions along with supporting legs and base to be renewed (material- AL, Length: 01 mtr, 40 mm dia). HB-1016 Goose neck air vent on aft port side uprooted from base. Air vent to be renewed along with flap (material- Aluminum). HB-1017 8MM PVC Guard rail about 20M long with 06 bottle screws missing in quarter deck. Guard rail along with bottle screws to be renewed. HB-1018 LMG Tripod gun stand uprooted and missing. Tripod stand to be manufactured and renewed along with base plate. (Height-1 mtr with metallic guard). HB-1019 One tripod stanchion on quarter deck bent and weakened. Stanchion to be renewed along with base plate (material- Aluminum). HB-1020 04 stanchions on aft port side uprooted, 01 tripod, 03 bipod stands uprooted and missing. 04 stanchions, 01 tripod and 03 bipod stand to be renewed along with base. HB-1021 One air vent breather uprooted and missing. Air vent breather to be renewed along with base plate and flap. HB-1022 Connecting rod of stbd catwalk hand rail broken and weakened the hand rail. Hand rail (Dia-30mm, Length- 3 mtrs to be renewed (material- Aluminum). HB-1023 Two cracks and dents on starboard side cell (size 0.20 x 0.10) frame no. 15 and (0.20x0.05) frame no. 14, Damaged area (approximate 2 Sqmtr) along with stiffeners to be cropped and renewed as per recommendation of class surveyor. (mat: aluminum marine grade – AA5083H116, Plate thickness – 6mm, plate size 2 Sqmtr). HB-1024 Dent and scratches observed on starboard side cell frame no.13 to 18. Damaged ship side area approximate 6 Sqmtr along with stiffeners to be cropped and renewed as per recommendation of class surveyor. (mat: aluminium marine grade – AA5083H116, Plate thickness – 6mm, insulation area – 06 sq mtr). HB-1025 Metallic fender (semi circular) on stbd side dented and scratched. Damaged fender along to be cropped and renewed. (mat: aluminum marine grade – AA5083H116, length of the fender 01 mtr). HB-1026 Port exhaust bell mouth protection cover bent/damaged. Cover to be renewed (mat: aluminum, thickness: 5mm ). LB-5001 One exhaust blower detached from deck fitting and become defective due to damage on goose neck air vent at aft port side in waterjet compartment. Exhaust blower (415 V, 3 Phase, 3HP) to be renewed and mounted in position with new base frame.
