| 5 | Description:- Conducting leveling & supplying levels along the alignment at 25M intervals for preparation of\rlongitudinal section of the ground levels & for computation of quantity including longitudinal section of the rivers /\rstreams for Two kilometer on the upstream and One kilometer on down stream with intervals etc. with all\rcontractor's labour, survey equipment, wooden pegs, tools, plant & conveyance including jungle clearance where\rever required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: i) Leveling done for longitudinal section of the\rrivers/ streams will also be paid for under this item in addition to the longitudinal section along the alignment. ii)\rNo separate payment will be made for the cross sections taken at the station yards, rivers or at any other\rlocations as found necessary. At steepy locations across the alignment, cross section have to be taken for 100M\ron either side the levels being taken at every 25M. iii) For cross sections of rivers/streams taken at 25M intervals\rbed levels should be taken at every 10M or less as required. iv) Data of bed levels, low water levels & HFLs of\rwater sources should be recorded by local enquiry. | ||||||||
