Wherever butt welding of components having dissimilar thickness is required, the inner surface of thicker component shall be ground to match the thickness of the other part as per good engineering practise\nThe work shall include transporatation from owners storage point, handling, rigging, scaffolding, placing and alignment of pipe and fitting into their respective positions and on to their respective supports, hydro test, painting as per the engineering specifications provided.Fabrication and Erection of trunnion supports, installation of special items like bellows, strainers, traps,fabrication and erection of spacers etc. are also included in this scope. \nHydraulic/Pneumatic testing of the piping systems, flushing draining and drying up shall also be included in the scope of items. Sea water/ saline water shall not be used for hydro testing and contractor shall arrange potable water for hydro testing at no extra cost.
