( to be changed when the tolerance exceeds 1 . 5 mm ) 54m-5 inspect impeller and record clearances ( 0 . 7+/- 0 . 5 mm ) and coarse surface on impeller blades 54m-6 inspect steering units pin shaft weld lock 54m-7 replace anodes on water jet unit and transom . follow as per approved policy 54m-8 inspect painting on water jet unit . follow paint scheme as per approved paint scheme 54m-9 calibration of the amplifiers for feedback and indication 54m-10 calibration of the sensor servos for bucket & nozzle 54m-11 calibration of the indicators at main bridge , remote and local for bucket and nozzle 54m-12 calibration of the potentiometer of all controls at main bridge and remote stations 54m-13 verify functioning of all the alarm switches . 54m-14 change lube oil in lubricant system and take oil sample for lab analysis . 54m-15 change hydraulic oil of maneuvering unit and take oil sample for lab analysis 54m-16 change hydraulic hoses . 54m-17 change steering cylinder seals . 54m-18 change reversing cylinder seals . 54m-19 change mechanical seal of hub unit . 54m-20 inspect azimuth rev/ahead potentiometer , repair/replace broken or damaged component . 54m-21 inspect feedback sensor of reversing and steering cylinder , repair/ replace broken or damaged component . , ea-3002: intake duct ( make: mjp , model: 650 dd csu , qty-02 nos ) 54m-22 inspect paint on duct . follow paint scheme as per approved paint scheme 54m-23 inspect the gel coat of the intake duct for any cracks or other 54m-24 inspect the outer surface of the intake duct in the water jet compartment for any damages 54m-25 replace the gasket of the inspection hatch of the duct 54m-26 inspect the tightness of the inspection hatch bolts 54m-27 inspect the intake duct bottom flange for any traces of sea water leakage 54m-28 inspect the threads of the inspection hatch bolts and replace if damaged , ea-3003: 54 monthly maintenance routine of shafting to be carried out as per maintops 03 e 001a ( make: mjp , model: 650 dd csu , qty-02 nos ) . 54m-1 greasing of plummer block ( cooper roller bearing ) . 54m-2 check function of inflatable seal . 54m-3 check function of shaft locking device . 54m-4 servicing of shaft seal . 54m-5 visual inspection of intermediate shaft for any cracks/chips , missing part/ damage . 54m-6 visual inspection of intermediate shaft sleeve near bulkhead seal area ( for composite intermediate shaft only ) . 54m-7 check the tightening torque for all screws ( intermediate shaft ) . 54m-8 inspect disc coupling set for any damaged disc and tightness/ replace disc coupling set . 54m-9 major overhaul of bulkhead seal , ea-3004: refit routine of humphree system to be carried out as per maintops 06e 001a and prove for satisfactory operation ( make: humphree , qty-04 nos ) r-1 check connection of transom cable and servo motor for corrosion or liquid contamination . replace the worn out parts . r-2 inspect the sealing strip and replace the part if worn out or broken r-3 extend the interceptor blades to fully out position ( 50 mm ) . clean the blade and gapes . if the blades do not extents completely 50 mm then remove themotor , free the blade movement by manually rotating the spindle and grease the internal assemblies . r-4 carry out servo motor calibration .
