2 1.01 (f) Conducting lab test on undisturbed soil sample as considered necessary according to relevant IS specification of 2720 and detailed result showing all relevant calculations, inference, indices and parameter shall be given in the soil report :- (i) Natural moisture content\n(ii) Bulk density\n(iii) Specific gravity (iv) Free swell index and swelling properties of soil\n(v) Organic matter in soil if any.\n(vi) Consolidation test (compressed index value)\n(vii) Triaxial compression test & determination of shear parameters (C & O test). 3 1.02 To carry our Plate Bearing test (K-Value test) for determination of sub grade each reaction of soil in place for design of Raft foundation. This includes arrangement of Girders, Hydraulic Jack (complete with pump pressure gauge and flexible pipe, dial gauge with magnetic bases chequers or grove steel plate varying in size, datum bar or rod necessary tool kit) and conducting test at site accordance to IS 9214-1979.\nModulus of Sub grade ('K' Value):-\nSer No Depth of Modulus of Remarks\n Foundation(mtr) Sub grade('K' Value) . . 5 1.04 The SBC of the soil is required to be given as per following table calculation of bearing capacity will be governed generally as per IS 8009 (Pt-I)-1976 , IS 2720 (pt-II)-1980 IS 6403, 1981, IS 1904-1986 & IS 1080-1985 and other relevent IS Code and detailed calculation duly showing the various soil parameter/ indices shall be given uin the Soil Report -

8 1.07 With every site's Soil Investigation Reports, a detailed site plan showing the approx location of each bore duly numbered as per log of bore hole should be enclosed Location of foundation of adjacent structures, especially those that might be impacted by the proposed construction should be indicated with details in site plan.
9 1.08 Photographic record of geo-exploration as well as testing shall also from part of the report.
10 1.09 Every page of the Soil Investigation Report should have the Name of the Job for which soil Investigation is being carried out. In case of multiple sites of a single Job are being investigated name of each site shall be put on each page of report pertaining to the site.
11 1.1 All page of the Soil Investigation Report shall be serially numbered stamped and signed by the Agency carrying out the Soil Investigation Report should be scrutinized by GE & CWE for correctness & endorsed.
12 1.11 The GE shall intimate the approximate type of construction, utilization and dimensions of proposed building to the consultant, who based on Geotechnical investigation should recommend type of foundation (viz isolated/combined footing, raft pile etc).
13 1.12 In case of undersigned building/ basement construction or if requirement of temporary/permanent deep excavation support measure during construction of building are envisaged necessary excavtion support measure during construction of building are envisaged necesary excavation support measure to be given by the consultant based on geotechnical investigations.
14 1.13 Drilling bore holes supplement with penetration test (SPT) upto 06m depth or refusal whichever occurs earliest. Collection of soil, determination of various soil properties and analysis of test date and submission of detailed test soil profile and soaked CBR. (Each - 02)
15 1.14 Determination of 'K' value (Soil subgrade modulus) of soild in field as per relevent IS code. (Each - 01)
