Outsourcing of services for operation and maintenance of Power House No 2 including maint of complete HT/LT over head line up to source No 2 feeder and HT/LT cable network in the station of three different feeders and and attending and rectifying any fault/breakdown in the system up to and including users end round the clock in three shift of eight hours per shift (First shift 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, Second shift 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and Third shift 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs) as directed by Engineer-in-Charge by a qualified Electrician (01 electrician in each shift) including sunday and holiday. Operation and maintenance includes the following :-\n(a) Operation and maintenance of HT VCB – 01 Nos\n(b) Maintaining 11/0.433 KV transformers – 01 Nos\n(c) Repair/Jointing/Replacement if required of HT/LT cable/cable joint.\n(d) Repair/Replacement of HT/LT insulator.\n(e) Repair/Rejointing/Replacement if required of ACSR conductor.\n(f) Repair/Replacement if required of gang operating system.\n(g) Repair/Binding of fuse/replacement if required of drop out fuse unit. (h) Replacement if required of lightening arrestors. (j) Trimming of trees alongside the HT/LT OH line. (k) Checking & maintaining of transformer earth test record. (l) Checking & maintaining the oil to required level in transformers.

NOTE: (i) Stores required for replacement of above work will be issued seperately.\n(ii) The Contractor shall provide printed log book/Register as per format provided by the Dept. \n(iii) The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of providing mobile communication in the MRS and outgoing Electrician for checking HT/LT line, so that the electric supply programme can be streamlined and feedback can be obtained.\n(iv) The Contractor shall supply uniforms to their employees for wearing during working hours. The uniform shall be pant and shirt and shall be in blue colour. The pattern of the uniform shall be as decided by the Engr-in-charge. The unit rate is deemed to be inclusive of the uniform supplied.\n(v) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of certain misc items such as cotton waste, hand gloves, gum boot, safety belt and bamboo ladder suitable for working on HT/LT pole for maintenance work, cleaning and keeping neat and tidy of surrounding areas including removing vegetation/grass all around upto 10m of HT takeover points, VCB/OCB room, store room and places indicated as per site conditions as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.
