| 3 | 1.02 | Overhauling and testing of 2750 KVA Hindustan Brown Boveri make transformer:\nThe scope of work includes draining out the existing oil, dismantling all integrals,opening the top cover, cleaning the\nassembly, checking the brazing joints,connections etc, flushing the tank and radiators by using new oil, replacing all gaskets and seals with new ones(Grade RC 70C conforming to IS 4253), painting the transformer and\naccessories after necessary surface preparation with two coats of epoxy paint of identical colour over a coat of\nsuitable primer,assembling the integrals, providing new breather with the same capacity,filling the tank and topping up the transformer up to the required conservator level with new oil, providing new terminal box at 440 V side, testing the transformer as per IS for all the routine tests, etc. New transformer oil required for cleaning the tank and other assemblies and for topping up the transformer (approximately 2400 litres of oil) will be supplied by FACT free of cost..All other materials required for the work such as gaskets, paint, primer, breather ,nuts, bolts, washers etc.shall be supplied by the contractor. Vehicle for the to and fro transportation of oil shall be arranged by contractor.
