Shall Be Arranged By Contractor ) . , Supply Of 25 Mm X 6 Mm Aluminum Strip For Using As Conductor For Lightning Protection . , Erection Of Lighning Protection Conductors The Scope Of The Work Includes The Erection Of 25 Mm X 6 Mm Aluminum Strip Overhead / On Roof / As Down Conductor For Lightning Protection Of Building And Removing Of Existing Damaged Lightning Protection Strips . Also The Work Shall Include Supply , Laying , Dressing , Fixing Of Lightning Protection Conductors On Structures , Columns , Walls , Parapet Wall , Roof Top , Trenches , Pipes , Etc . Making Junction Plates & End Connection Plates , Making Bolt Holes , Jointing , Welding , Riveting , Bracing , Termination , Fixing Lugs , Anticorrosive Coating , Excavation , Refilling , Structural Supporting , Etc . As Required . The Aluminum Strip Shall Be Erected And Clamped On Roof Slab / Asbestos Roof / Parapet Wall / Sidewall Using Suitable Supporting Spacers As Per Is 2309 . If Conductor Needs To Be Layed Over Roof Slab , Concrete Upstands ( With Cement , Sand And Mortar Of Dimention Not Less Than 50X100x100mm ) Shall Be Used For Conductor Fixing At An Interval Of 1500 Mm ( As Per The Drawing Attached In Special Terms And Conditions ) . Every Down Conductor Shall Be Connected To Earth Pit Using Suitable Test Links .
