4 1.03 Note: \n(a) The inspection of transformer shall involve:-\ni) Checking of all clamps, nuts, bolts including core bolts & cover fixing bolts.\nii) Checking all brazings, joints, tap heads and connection joints.\niii) Checking all jumpers, terminations/ connections inside the transformer.\niv) Checking the Buckholz relay, conservator MOG.\nv) arresting leakages of radiator assembly by brazing.\nvi) Arresting wetting at interconnections by replacements of O rings etc complete.\nvii) Painting of transformer complete with two coats of synthetic enamel paint externally complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.\nviii) Conducting the tests on core and windings as per IS like ratio, magentic imbalance, short circuit etc in presence of Engr-in-Charge and test results shall be signed both by the contractor and Engineer -in-Charge and kept on record.
5 1.04 (b) Any damage to insulators/bushes/windings etc while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to govt. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody.\n(c) The M/L for bushes, studs, Transformer oil, filtration of oil, cable box, replacement of major spares, repair/servicing of OLTC etc will be measured and paid separately.
6 2 M&L for overhauling of OLTC of 33/11 KV transformer of following capacity by draining out of transformer oil of OLTC, dismantling of top cover, inspection of moving and fixed contacts of all three phases and checking the operation, cleaning and removal of contacts of all the three phases and checking the operation, cleaning and removal of all carbon particles, cleaning of contacts with emery paper, checking the tightness of leads in the OLTC board, and moving/fixed contacts. Inspection of transition resistance and replacement of gaskets / contacts etc if found damaged, reassembling complete, filling up of oil, testing and commissioning complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

18 9 M&L for disconnecting carefully electrical connection from both HT/ LT (primary & secondary) sides of the transformer, keeping them at safe side and taking out the transformer indoor/ outdoor type of capacity from 401 KVA to 750 KVA , 11 KV/ 0.433 KV, step down any make for carrying out complete overhauling which shall comprise of the following includinguding handling, lifting, transportation to and from complete :- 2 Each
19 9.01 a) opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers etc. including disconnecting core assembly from HT/ LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/ body) of the transformer.
20 9.02 b) M&L for draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer in the suitable capacity of container /drums and keeping it in safe custody for reuse.
21 9.03 c) M&L for cleaning the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt/ sludge/ foreign particles etc. from the bottom/ body of the transformer and drying up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil.
22 9.04 d) M&L for cleaning and washing thoroughly core and windings of the transformer by hosing down with clean dry oil, removing deposited dirt/sludge/foreign particles from the windings/ core, thorough inspection of windings, providing insulations to leads and terminals, heating/ drying/ baking complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc. all as directed by Engr-in- charge.
23 9.05 e) Lifting and refixing core assembly inside the transformer shell gently and carefully, connecting primary/ secondary/ Neutral connections to the bushings assembly, fixing of tap change over including tightening of nuts, bolts, washers of the core to reduce humming noise all as directed.
24 9.06 f) Refilling the filtered transformer oil in the shell of transformer complete.
25 9.07 g) Refixing the top cover including replacement of cork sheet/ gasket, tightening of nuts/ bolts/ washers etc. and replacement of breather with silica gel crystal type all as directed by Engr-in charge
26 9.08 h) Lifting/ handling from where removed and re-installing the transformer including connecting primary/ secondary/ neutral connections etc. all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
27 9.1 Note:\n(i) Any damage to insulators/ bushes/ windings etc. while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to Department. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody.\n(ii) M&L for rewinding/ re-insulation of HT/ LT (primary/ secondary) coils, bushes, studs, Transformer oil,cable box, replacement of buchholtz relay/ MOG if any etc will be measured and paid separately.

31 13 M&L for re-windings of HT distribution transformers of any capacity/ size/ type by strip opening of HT coils (i.e. Primary coils) from core assembly safely, unwinding the HT (i.e. Primary coils) complete, removing the old defective insulation paper, rewindingwith new copper wire of same gauge and existing size together with new DPC insulation to the copper conductor, varnishing of the windings including heating/ drying/ backing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc. all as directed by Engr-in- charge. 90 Each
32 14 M&L for re-windings of HT distribution transformers of any capacity/ size/ type by strip opening of LT coils (i.e. Secondry coils) from core assembly safely, unwinding the LT (i.e. secondry coils) complete, removing the old defective insulation paper, rewindingwith new copper wire of same gauge and existing size together with new DPC insulation to the copper conductor, varnishing of the windings including heating/ drying/ backing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc. all as directed by Engr-in- charge. 40 Each

58 27.01 (i) Disconneted the vacuum interrupter assembly from VCB panel along with all connections, adjustment of contact gap as required.\n(ii) Disconnected socket contacts, cleaning and adjustment of gap, replacement of rings /defected sockets, contacts etc.\n(iii) Checking the breaker bushing of bus bar and circuit side, inspection/ servicing of internal surface for any arcing/ tracks.\n(iv) Checking the epoxy body completely for any cracks, any sign of arcs/ tracks, cleaning thoroughly with CTC including applying Bectrol red varnish.
59 27.02 (v) Checking the drive insulator assembly and inspect for chocking/ tracks/ arcing.\n(vi) Taking the IR value of all components,confirm satisfactory results before refixing in VCB panel.\n(vii) Checking the condition of the spring charging motor along with gear box including servicing the motor & replacement of motor bearings if required.\n(viii) Checking/ servicing of ratchet wheel assembly, driving and charging parts.
60 27.03 (ix) Checking the auxiliary switch, its contacts for proper functional operation.\n(x) Checking & servicing of raising/ lowering mechanism and its locking system for proper functioning.\n(xi) Checking & servicing of shutter assembly for its automatic opening/ closing.\n(xii) Checking the bus bar and circuit spouts, cleaning with CTC and applying bectrol red varnish to the surface of the bus bar and circuit spouts.
61 27.04 (xiii) Checking the CTs/ PTs for any arcing/ tracks, cleaning and applying one coat of varnish.\n(xiv) Cleaning of metering and relay chamber, checking/ replacement of burnt wires if any, tightening of all connections to arrest the loose contacts.\n(xv) Applying mono-plast compound at bus bar joints after tightening all joints/ connections.\n(xvi) Lubrication and greasing of all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear, isolation resistance of vacuum interrupter assembly.
62 27.05 Note:\n(a) The items like nuts, bolts, spring washers, petroleum jelly, CTC,fuses,T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound , flexible /fixzed contecats / plates ,necessary fittings and fixtures etc required to put the breaker in serviceable condition shall be supplied by the contractor and rate shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted to put in to the VCBs and panels in serviceable condition, testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
63 27.06 (b) Major spares like Breaker bushings, vaccum interrupture assly, busbar spout, busbar spout connections, circuit spout/circuit spout connections/ buffer fixed contacts, moving contacts, tank assly/barriers, solenoid spares, dependent/ spring mechainsm/ motor mechanism, trip unit etc will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A'. However the rate quoted shall be deemed to include for any other minor spares /parts require replacement.
