Carrying out coating of all field weld joints, by qualified coating insulators, including supply of approved joint coating materials, providing all equipment, materials and consumables necessary to carry out the job as per manufacturer’s recommendation,\nh. Making field bends out of free issued 3LPE coated pipes to match the site requirement and its installation. Installation of hot-pulled bends (LR) at required locations in mainline including cutting, bevelling, fitment, coating the bare bend pipe with approved cold-applied tape coat / PU coating etc.,\ni. Lowering the pipeline in trench, tieing-in, backfilling with excavated earth and/or other suitable soil (top soil stored separately during trenching shall be backfilled on top of the ditch) as directed by Engineer- in- charge,\nl. Laying pipeline by open-cut method at crossings viz., cart-track, metalled/ un-metalled roads, minor water courses (MWC), (except crossings identified as "Cased", "Submerged" & "HDD" crossings and "Marshy areas") and restoration of the site to original condition including performance of additional works for strengthening of banks of water courses etc.,\nm. Carrying out air cleaning, gauge pigging and hydrostatic testing (to specified pressure) of the complete pipeline (excluding those HDD crossing sections not under the scope of this tender) including providing ‘pre-testing’ of designated sections as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, providing all equipment, pumps, fittings, instruments, dead weight tester etc. and services, supervision, labour, consumables, testing of water, supply & injection of corrosion inhibitor, locating leaks, if any, and rectification of defects attributable to Contractor, re-testing after rectification etc. and cleaning the pipeline section after successful hydrotesting,\nr. Precommissioning activities like swabbing, drying, EGP of the complete pipeline network and the associated facilities being installed to the specified acceptance criteria as per Owner/ Owner's Representative.\ns. All tie-ins, including tieing-in with Adjacent/ HDD sections along this pipeline route,\nt. Protective coating of 450 micron thick two component epoxy / polyurethane (applied with the help of minimum three coats) including supply of materials duly approved by owner for all piping, Valves, fittings, structural steels etc. for buried installation and inside the valve pit.\nu. Maintaining the completed pipelines/ installation for any defect, failures during defect liability period (i.e. 12 months from date of commissioning of Pipeline).\nv. Ensuring proper safety as per codes & standard practices during construction, cordoning off the work area, providing warning signs, barricading and proper tools & tackles, Equipping the workers with safety boots, helmets and fluorescent aprons & barricading as per enclosed drawings. Visual classification of soil shall be in accordance with IS-1498; IS Classification and Identification of Soils for General Engineering Purposes” Geotechnical investigation of soil shall be carried out as per relevant clauses of IS 1892 and other applicable IS standards, Except for crossing location as defined below, the boring shall be carried out upto 10.0 M depth below NGL or 1.0 M. below the rock bed, if rock is encountered at a depth of less than 10.0 M.\nIn case of boring at Highways (National / State), River and Railways crossings, the boring shall either terminated at a depth of 15.0 M below NGL or 1.0 M. below the rock bed on top of bed rock, if rock is encountered at a depth less than 15.0 M.\nResults of soil investigation survey shall be submitted in the form of report covering minimum the followings:\nVisual engineering classification of soils encountered along the pipeline route in bore log form. Depth of Ground Water Table (GWT) below NGL shall also be mentioned if encountered.
