ItemDescription:- Conducting\rFinalLocationSurvey(FLS)fortheproposednewlineusingtendersown\rEngineers labor, tools, plant & equipment, materials, transportation with all lead and lifts, duly taking all safety\rprecautions to ensure safety, using survey instruments like Total Sations, DGPS, Auto levels etc and using\rBentley Power Rail Track/MX Rail software as per the scope, terms of reference, relevant provisions of Indian\rRailwaysCodeforEngineeringDepartment(1999,ThirdReprint)withuptodatecorrectionSlips,special\rconditions of tender and as directed by the Engineer-in charge; including Topographical survey for 25m corridor\ron both side of center line of existing track or for 100m corridor on both side on diverted alignment as the case\rmay be, taking the longitudinal levels at intervals of 20m & at obligatory points and cross sectional levels at an\rinterval of 5m (or less as decided by Engineer in Charge as per the terrain). (extra width to be covered at some\rlocations as directed by Engineer-in-charge) including survey of trees; This shall include stacking of approved\ralignment with RCC Pillars (150 x 150 x 900mm size with 300mm prijected above ground level) at an interval of\r500m, with wooden pegs (50 x 50 x 450mm size) at every 20m where track is away from the existing track or\rwhere it is advised by Engineer-in-charge.(Cost if wooden pegs is inclusive). The RCC Pillars shall also be fixed\ron curves indicating transition portion, apex point, crown of curve, beginning and end point of circular curves, (5\rLocations for each curve), at major bridges two pillars one on either side, including submitting list of distance and\rcordinates of centre line of proposed BG line from centre line of existing BG line at every 20m interval. He shall\ralso submit the list of existing infringement to the proposed BG alignment as per latest SOD for BG. The proforma\rfor the same shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge. Notes for itme I : (i) The rate also includes preparation,\rsubmission &approval by Railway of report of final Location Survey (FLS) printed & duly bound (4 sets) and with\rsoft copy in PDF & Ms-Word format separately. (ii) Payment for concrete Pillars will be made separately as per\ritem 2 of Schedule. (iii) Nothing extra will be paid for the survey for the loop lines in the yards. (iv) All field survey\rdata should be submitted to Railway compatible as input file to Bentley PRT software.
