The Battery Unit Shall Also Meet The Following Requirement: [A] Cold Cranking Ampere Hours - 1800 Amps. [B] Duration Of Cranking - 6 To 8 Sec. [C] No. Of Cranks - 8. [D] The Technology Used For The Battery Unit Shall Be Suitable For Rolling Stock Application. Tenderers Shall Furnish The Details Of Battery Offered Along With Tender Document. [E] The Battery Unit Shall Be Suitable For Ambient Temperature Of Minus 10 Deg. C To + 55 Deg. C. [ F] No Topping Up Of Electrolyte Required Upto Two Years. [G] The Firm Shall Indicate The Life Of Battery In Their Offer. [H] Supplied In High Impact Resistant Polypropylene Containers In Stainless Steel Crates. [I] The Cells Shall Be Supplied In Filled And Charged Conditions Including All Necessary Inter Cell Connectors, End Lugs And Hardware. [J] The Complete Battery Unit Shall Be Supplied In A Battery Box With Its Associated Packing Arrangement. The Overall Arrangement Of Battery Box Generally Be Conforming To Icf Drawing No. Icf/Sk 3-7-1-008. [K] The Supplier Shall Submit Oga Drawing Of Battery Box For Approval Before Commencing Supply. The Firm Shall Submit All Details Of Battery Box Drawing In Soft Form To Enable Icf To Scrutinize The Battery Box From Structural Stability Point Of View. [L] The Cells Shall Be Arranged Inside The Battery Box As Per Layout Shown In Drawing No. Icf/Sk 3-7-1- 008. [M] The Supplier Shall Render Installation And Commissioning Support At Icf As Well As At User Railway. [N] The Supplier Shall Instruction And Maintenance Manual At The Rate 2 Nos. Per Set.
