2 1.1 E) Internal DSR Temperature measurement device - A platinum Nos 01 resistance temperature measurement device (PRT) mounted within the environmental chamber as an integral part of the DSR and in the close proximity to the fixed plate with the range of (-) 20 to 200 Deg C and with the resolution of 0.1 deg C. This temperature measurement device shall be used to control the temperature of the test specimen between the plates and shall provide a continuous readout of temperature during the mounting, conditioning, and testing of the specimen -01 No \nF) Loading Device - The loading device shall be capable of applying a sinusoidal oscillatory load to the specimen at a frequency of 10.0±0.1 rad/s. If frequencies other than 10 rad/s are used, the frequency shall be accurate to 1%. The loading device shall be capable of providing either a stress controlled and strain controlled. If the load is strain controlled, the loading shall apply a cyclic torque sufficient to cause an angular rotational strain accurate to within 10 micron radian of the strain specified. 7 2.1 E) Pressure and Temperature Controlling Devices - Calibrated pressure relief valve should prevent pressure in the vessel from exceeding the designed pressure of the vessel, but in no-case exceeding 2.5 MPa during the conditioning procedure. A pressure regulator or regulating system be capable of controlling the pressure within the vessel to ±0.003 MPa, and with a capacity-adequate to reduce the pressure from the source of compressed air, so that the pressure within the loaded pressure vessel is maintained at 2.1 ± 0.1 MPa gauge (relative) pressure; during the conditioning process- 01No.\n(a) A slow-release bleed valve or pressure controller should allow the pressure in the vessel at the completion of the conditioning procedure to be reduced from 2.1 MPa to local atmospheric pressure within 8-15 mins.\nF) Temperature Controlling Device - A digital temperature controlling device as describe below should be capable of maintaining the temperature during the conditioning procedure within the pressure vessel at the conditioning temperature ±0.3oC.\n(a) A heating device (forced-draft oven or fluid bath) be capable of restoring the conditioning temperature within the vessel after loading the pans and the pan holder and prior to pressurizing the vessel within 2 h of placing the loaded vessel in the heating device.\nThe device shall be capable of maintaining the temperature within the pressure vessel at the conditioning temperature ±0.5oC. The oven shall have sufficiently large interior dimensions to allow forced air to freely circulate within the oven and around the pressure vessel when the vessel is placed in the oven. The oven shall contain a stand or shelf that supports the loaded pressure vessel in a level position above the lower surface of the oven.\n(b) A pressure vessel with an integral temperature control system be capable of restoring the preconditioning temperature, and the levelness of the sample rack as it rests in the pressure vessel, within the vessel after loading the pans and the pan holder, prior to pressurizing the vessel within two hours of placing the loaded vessel in the heating device, and maintaining the temperature within the pressure vessel at the conditioning temperature ±0.5oC\n(c) Over temperature protection:Auto cut off at 150oC\n\n
8 2.2 G) Temperature and Pressure Measuring Devices: A platinum resistive thermometric device (RTD) accurate to the nearest 0.1 C and E 1137/ E 1137M (IEC manufactured in accordance with specification 751) or equal for measuring temperature inside the pressure vessel.
