| 1 | 1 | Transportation of sand from existing Guntakal Depot from the sand pad foundations of the dismantled tanks including excavation by means of manual/hydraulic excavator upto a depth of 1.5 m below the exisiting ground level and loading in truck/tipper and carriage, transportation of the same to the proposed Project site at Nakkanadoddi which is 14 KM away and unloading, stacking, spreading and filling inside the UG Tankfarm pit including necessary compaction and watering, etc. as per the instructions of IOC Site in Charge/Engineer at site.\nNOTE: \n(1) The quantity of sand being excavated shall be measured based on the volume of the existing sand pad foundation containing the sand in CUM at old Guntakal depot.\n(2) The quantity of the sand being transported and filled inside the UG Tankfarm pit at project site shall also be measured in CUM.\n(3) The Quantity of sand considered for measurement shall be lesser of the quantities measured above at (1) and (2) & whichever is lesser shall be considered as per the unit of measurement for this item and payable.\n(4) This shall ensure that all the sand that is being excavated, made available at Old guntakal depot is being transported, unloaded and filled inside the UG tankfarm pit at project site at Nakkanadoddi. \n(5) The contractor shall strictly ensure that the total quantity of sand excavated by them and made available at old Guntakal depot shall all be transported to the project site at Nakkanadoddi.\n(6) The contractor shall maintain and submit necessary registers, containing details of truck/tipper registration no., the number of trips made each day by each truck/tipper, in/out pass details both at Old Guntakal depot and at project site at Nakkanadoddi, etc. to the IOC Site in charge.\n(7) IOC also reserves the right to randomly check the weights of the truck/tippers (both loaded and empty condition) at project site to ascertain the quantity of sand being transported in MT and the contractor shall co operate for the same. | 1 | 3272 | CUM |
