| 2 | 1.01 | Design, Providing, Fabrication and installation of semi- automatic priming system for priming of suction pipes at LIS Rathua / Suhagni / Kukerian and Rattanpur Paras. The job involves dismantling of the existing priming pump suction pipe from the installed position and stacking separately to a suitable place outside the pump room. Providing and installation of the monobloc, self – priming up to 8.0 m suction head (at least), mechanical – sealed/ gland – packed shaft sealing, non – clog type pump and MS/GI suction Pipe of 3 in. diameter and required suitable length (5 to 8 mtrs. approx). The job includes fabrication of base frame of suitable size, if required, out of MS angles, properly anchoring the frame / Monobloc pump in the concrete block cast outside the pump room near the main suction pipes or an alternate arrangement of fabricated structure for installation of pump. The concrete block to be laid by way of digging of soil to suitable size and filling the same with aggregate, crusher stones, reinforcement with TMT steel, cement and sand mixture in appropriate proportion as desired for foundation blocks. In case of alternate arrangement the pump to be installed properly on an fabricated and properly grouted frame structure made out of suitable size MS angle so as to keep the pump vibration free while in operation. The job also includes fabrication of MS sheet cover of suitable size on top of priming pump for protection from rain etc. The job includes fabrication of required bends and reducer/expander from the 3” dia. pipe to be used in the suction and delivery lines, p/f of new regulatory Valves for regulating the flow of water from delivery side of the priming pump to main suction pipe lines of all the four pumping units by connecting delivery pipe of new priming pump with the existing old system of priming with certain modifications where ever required. Replacement of damaged worn out delivery pipe 2” / 2.5” dia. where ever required with new pipe of the same size including fabrication/providing of required bends/expanders/reducers etc.\nThe job further includes providing and fitting of new M-Power fully automatic starter with of reputed make like L & T, BCH, HCL, Havells etc. conforming to relevant IS and IEC codes, which can be remotely operated. Installation of the new starter at suitable place inside the pump room by skilled labour / semi-skilled labour by providing and fitting of copper cable of appropriate size and length from priming pump to starter, thimbling the copper cable with copper thimbles using crimping tool and cover the flexible copper cable with PVC sleeve. Providing and fitting of appropriate size of flexible copper cable from panel to starter, thimbling the flexible copper cable with copper thimbles with help of crimping tool and cover the flexible copper cable with PVC sleeve, etc. Complete testing of the priming assembly on idle load and then on full load capacity. Complete job including cost of material, consumable, handling, loading, unloading, transportation charges. The job also includes the cost of skilled /semi-skilled labour and hiring charges for CPB, tripod stand, tools and tackles required during the execution of the job at site. \n\nNote 1:- The firms desirous of participating in this tender are requested to visit the site of work at LIS Rathua / Suhagni / Kukerian and Rattanpur Paras, to see the location and understand the nature of works to be executed, before uploading their bids.
