Tender For Dcvg Defects Rectification Works Under Viramgam Jurisdiction - 1 Coating On Sleeving / Pipeline Section Of 28 Inch Diameter Pipeline: Taking Delivery Of Cold Applied Tape Material- 3Ply / 2Ply Type Tape, Primer, Putty From Designated Store Of Owner At Viramgam And Application Of Cold Applied Tape Using Wrapping Machines As Per Specifications / Directions Comprising Of Following Activities / Jobs:- ( A ) Excavating In All Type Of Soil Including Hard Murrum And Rock For Exposing Existing Pipeline Normally Buried At 1.5 To 2.0 Mt. Depth ( The Depth May Vary Near Road / Rail / River / Nala / Cart Track Crossing ) Including Keeping Top Layer Of Soil Separately, Bailing Out Of Water, Shoring Strutting Etc. N ( B ) Removing Of Old Coat & Wrap With Scrappers Using Wooden / Brass Hammers Etc. N ( C ) Cleaning The Pipe By Sand Blasting As Per Specifications And Instructions Of Site Engineer / Engineer-In- Charge. N ( D ) Applying One Coat Of Liquid Adhesive Fast Drying Synthetic Primer Over The Cleaned Surface With The Help Of Good Approved Quality Bristle Type Painting Brush / Spray. N ( E ) Applying First Layer Of 3Ply Cold Applied Tape ( Inner ) For Corrosion Protection On The Surface Of Primed Pipe After Touch Dry With Minimum Overlap Of 50% As Recommended By The Manufacturer Followed By Another Second Layer Of 2 Ply Cold Applied Tape ( Outer ) Coating Or As Recommended By The Manufacturer. N ( F ) Backfilling Of The Trench After Holiday Detection Test To Be Performed By Contractor As Per Specifications. The Contractor Shall Properly Provide Compaction Of The Backfilled Earth & Restore The Worksite To Original Conditions. N ( G ) Restoration Of The Row To The Satisfaction Of The Owner As Per The Direction Of Eic Or His Representatives. N Or Ncoating On Sleeving / Pipeline Section Of 28 Inch Diameter Pipeline: Taking Delivery Of Liquid Epoxy Material, 100% Solvent Free, High Build Solid Material From Designated Store Of Owner At Viramgam And Application Of Liquid Epoxy As Per Approved Procedure As Per Specifications / Directions Comprising Of Following Activities / Jobs:- N ( A ) Excavating In All Type Of Soil Including Hard Murrum And Rock For Exposing Existing Pipeline Normally Buried At 1.5 To 2.0 Mt. Depth ( The Depth May Vary Near Road / Rail / River / Nala / Cart Track Crossing ) Including Keeping Top Layer Of Soil Separately, Bailing Out Of Water, Shoring Strutting Etc. N ( E ) Backfilling Of The Trench After Holiday Detection Test To Be Performed By Contractor As Per Specifications. The Contractor Shall Properly Provide Compaction Of The Backfilled Earth & Restore The Worksite To Original Conditions. N ( F ) Restoration Of The Row To The Satisfaction Of The Owner As Per The Direction Of Eic Or His Representatives. 2 Sleeving Of Mainline: Ndirect Welding ( Type B Sleeve ) : Fabrication, Fitment And Welding Of Full Encirclement Sleeves From Owners Supplied 28 Dia Pipes Over Pitted Sections Of The Exposed Pipeline Including Testing / Inspection ( Dp / Tell Tale Test ) , Supply Of All Equipment, Consumables, Labour Etc. Required To Complete The Work In All Respects As Per The Specifications And Direction Of The Site Engineer / Eic. Pipes Will Be Supplied By The Owner From Owners Store Yards At Viramgam And Shall Be Transported To Site At The Contractors Risk & Cost For Sleeving Of 28 Dia Line 3 Excavation In All Type Of Soil Including Hard Murrum And Hard Rock For Exposing Existing Pipeline Normally Buried Upto 2.5 M Depth ( The Depth May Vary Near Road / Rail / River / Nala / Cart Track Crossing ) As Per Specification / Size Of Trench Mentioned In Tender Including Keeping Top Layer Of Soil Separately Including De-Watering The Excavated Pits Necessary Shoring, Strutting Followed By Backfilling Of The Trench After Holiday Detection Test To Be Performed By Contractor As Per Specifications. Restoration Of The Row To The Satisfaction Of The Owner As Per The Direction Of Eic Or His Representatives. This Item Will Be Operated For Excavation Other Than Item No 10 For Excavation And As Per The Direction Of Eic Or His Representatives 4 Extra Excavation For Depth Beyond 2.5M Depth In River / Canal Beds And Other Specific Locations:Excavation In All Types Of Ordinary And Hard Soils Including Hard Murrum Including De-Watering The Excavated Pits Necessary Shoring, Strutting Including Back Filling, Stacking Selected Excavated Material For Back Filling And / Or Disposing Outside The Premises Of Owner, If The Depth O The Pipe ( From Top Of The Pipe ) Is More Than 2.5M From Average Land Surface Level. Payment Shall Be Made For Quantity In Cubic Meters To Be Calculated As Per Tender Specification / Drawing. 5 Hard Rock Removal:Excavation In Hardrock By Chiselling / Pneumatic Drilling Including Dewatering The Excavated Pits Necessary Shoring, Strutting Including Backfilling, Stacking Selected Excavated Material For Back Filling And / Or Disposing Outside The Premises Of Iocl.This Extra Payment For Hard Rock Removal Shall Be Made Only When Rock Reaking / Removal Is Done By Using Rock Breaker / Chemical Treatment. Item Includes All Labour And Supplying Of Tools And Tackles. 6 Sand Padding As Per Tender Specifications At Rocky / Murrum Areas As Perinstructions Of Site Engineer / Eic, Minimum 8 Inch Around The Pipe ( 28 ) , Including Supply Of All Labor, Materials, Tools Andtackles / Equipments, Transportation Etc. In All Respects As Per The Directions Of Site Engineer / E-I-C. 7 Payment For Supplying And Providing Rockshield:Supply And Providing Of Owner Approved Rock Shield All Around The 28Inch Pipe Where Hard Rock Is Encountered. Rock Shield Shall Be Of Extruded Polyethylene Mesh And Meet The Requirements Specified Intechnical Specifications. The Application Procedure Of The System Willbe In Strict Adherence To The Procedure Laid By The Manufacturer. The Contractor Shall Obtain Prior Approval From The Engineer-In-Charge Forthe Rock Shield Material And Its Application Procedure.
