41 41 Material and labour for disconnecting carefully electrical connection from HT / LT sides of the transformer, keeping them at safe side and taking out the transformer, outdoor type 200 to 400 KVA, 0.433 / 11KV, comprising the following step up, any make carrying out complete overhauling and comprising the following :-\n(a) Material and labour for lifting, transporting, handling the transformer to workshop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers etc including disconnecting core assembly from HT / LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/ body) of the transformer. 1 Job
42 42 (b) Material and labour for draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer to a suitable capacity of container /drums and keeping it in safe coustody for reuse.\n(c) Material and labour for cleaning the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt / sludge/ foreign particles etc from the bottom / body of the transformer and drying / heating up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil.
43 43 (d) Material and labour for checking the leakage of transformer oil from tank joints, bushings, inlet / out let valves , breather etc ,servicing, opening the transformer and disconnect the star and delta connection for HT and LT windings , testing the insulation resistance, cleaning and washing thoroughly core and windings of the transformer by hoisting down with clean dry oil conforming to IS 335 /1983, removing deposited dirt / sludge / foreign particles from the windings / core and revarnishing of the windings with super varnish including heating / drying / backing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance etc all as per IS 1986-87 and directed by GE.\n(e) Lifting and refixing core assembly inside the transformer shell gently and carefully connecting of HT / LT / Neutral connections to the bushing assembly, fixing of tap change over including tightening of nuts,bolts, washers of the core to reduce humming noise complete all as directed to the entire satisfaction of GE.
44 44 (f) Varnishing the entire core assembly with insulating oil of approved quality ,heating and drying thoroughly, re -insulation paper, press pan paper, fevicol, sleeves and heating carefully inside chamber to got required megger value so as to obtain desired insulation resistance all as directed. \n(g) Re-fixing of the core assembly inside the transformer shell gently and carefully , conecting up with the HT / LT bushings , fixing of tap changer, connecting up with the neutral connections etc completeall as specified and directed by GE. \nNote: Necessary dismantling of core assembly for repair / rewinding and refixing shall be measured and paid under relevant items here in before all as specified and directed .
45 45 (h) Refilling the transformer oil in the shell of transformer only after carrying out filteration and heating up oil upto 105 degree C to achive required dielectric strength and submitting the test result before and after filteration of oil in the presence of GE on proper proforma duly signed. \n(i)Refixing the top cover including replacement of cork sheet / gasket 8mm thick, tightening of nuts / bolts / washers etc and replacement of breather with silica gel crystal type complete all as directed by GE.\n(j) Material and labour for carrrying out acidity test of transformer oil all as per IS-1866/1961 in presence of GE or MES representative authorised by him and submitting the test results on proper proforma duly signed.
46 46 (k) Cleaning / scrapping / brushing down and preparing the outer surface of the transformer body and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer complete all as specified and directed by GE.\nNote:- \n(i) Any damage to insulators / bushes / windings etc while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to govt. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody.\n(ii) The job taken for repair / overhauling should be complete with in 48 hours from the date of handing over of the individual transformer , failing which neccessary alternative arrangement to be made by the contractor at no extra cost.
47 47 All as per item no 41 here in before but transformer of capacity 100 KVA to 200 KVA \nNote -: (i) Filling up of the transformer oil will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) While taking transformer to the work shop the contractor has to temporarily install and connect transformer provided by the department as the same is catered for maintenance of essential services. \n(iii) Necessary rewinding of core if required will be measured and seperately 1 Job
