The River Cross Section Shall Be Taken Perpendicular To The General Alignment Of The River At Every 2 Km Longitudinal Interval; ( I ) Every 5 Meters Above The Water Level . ( Vii ) Either Continuing The Cross Section Surveys For 100 M Beyond The Embankments On Both Sides Of The River Embankments Or Where There Are No Embankments Extending The Survey Until The Ground Level Is 2 M Above The Normal Water Level Of The River .
