Item Description:- Hiring of Pickup Vans / Trucks such as TATA 497 SP / KARGO-KING MAHINDRA - 640 DP\r(Non-Air Conditioned or similar type of vehicle with carrying capacity not less than 2.0 Tonnes for SSE/SE/JEs\rand staff of concerend Dy.CE/Construction unit for transportation of equipment, materials, inspection of surveys,\rsoil explorations, land acquisitions, and survey, construction works, meeting and joint inspection with State Govt.\rofficials, village officials, Rural Officers, etc., in connection with the works of concerened Dy.CE/Construction unit\rwhere the equipment / materials are available at site to any place over South Central Railway with over all 1600\rKm. per vehicle month with conctractor's vehicle, driver, consumables such as diesel / petrol, engine oil, etc.,\rincluding all regular maintenance, repair works, including all taxes etc., complete as per special conditions and as\rdirected by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: i) The Vehicle should be in good fettle and not more than Three (3)\ryears old on the date of tender opening. ii) The vehicle shall normally be made available for at least 12.00 hrs.\reach day and on all 7 days of the week. (Normally from 7.30 AM to 7.30 PM or as decided by nominated officer).\rThe driver must report at the place and time as instructed by the nominated officer. Wherever required the\rvehicle should be made available even beyond normal duty hours also. Nothing extra will be paid on this account.\riii) The relief for the driver for overtime as well as weekly rest, etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own\rcost. iv) The payments / penalties will be made as per condition No.5.0 of special conditions. v) The road taxes,\rOctroi, Toll tax, environmental clearance certificate, permit charges for entering into other states will be borne by\rthe Contractor. vi) Time and distance shall be reckoned from the duty point.
