( Iii ) Operator Must Have The Knowledge To Maintain The Daily Log Sheet As Per Proforma For Dg Sets . , ( Iv ) The Contractor / Operator Must Ensure The Cleanliness In And Around The Surrounding Of Installation Complete . The Amount Of Rs . 500 / - For Each Installation Will Be Recovered For Non-Cleaning Of Installation Etc . ( V ) Generator Is To Be Operated During Power Failure From Supply Agency ( Tneb ) Or As And When Required By User / Department . ( Vi ) The Tradesmen / Operator Employed By The Contractor Must Wear The Uniform With Name Plate With Name Of Contractor , Under Whom He Is Working . The Amount Of Rs . 1000 / - For Each Installation Per Month Will Be Recovered In Case Of Non-Wearing The Uniform With Name Plate . ( Vii ) Common Mobile Phone With Sim And Without Camera . Torch Light , Rain Coat And Gum Boot To Be Provided To The Duty Operator By The Contractor In All The Locations . Expenditure Incurred In This Aspect Is Deemed To Be Included In The Rate Quoted By The Contractor . ( Viii ) Responsibility Of Contractor To Provide Reliever And No Additonal Cost Shall Be Claimed By The Contractor . The Rate Quoted Is Deemed To Include The Pay And Allowances Of The Reliever . Contractor Must Make Payments To The Employed Personnel Though Aadhar Linked Bank Account Only . Details Of Accounts With Name Shall Be Submitted Alongwith The Rar Claims . ( Ix ) Date Of Weekly Monthly Maintenance Should Be Entered In Logsheet And Signed By Incharge Of Installation . ( X ) Insurance Cover For The Employed People Is Must And It Is The Responsibility Of The Contractor . Documentary Evidence Shall Be Submitted By The Contractor To The Department . , ( Xi ) Cleaning Of The Dg Set Plant Room And Surrounding Area Of Dg Set Installation Area Upto 05 Rm Including Removal Of The Debris Away From The Installations Including Repairs / Replacement Of Internal Fittings & Fixtures Through Out The Contract Period ( From Commencement To Completion Of The Work ) . ( Xii ) If Penalty Imposed For Low Power Factor By Tneb For Wts Location , Same Shall Be Recovered From The Contractor During Rar Payment . 5	4.01	Note for Sl item No 1,2,3 & 4\n(i) Diesel and Engine Oil for DG sets will be issued as free for filling only from MT section / MES store yard Arakkonam. No transport and labour will be provided by department for shifting of POL and the contractor shall arrange labour, transport, materials, tools and operating staffs etc, for collection and shifting of POL to the sites\n\n(ii) Operator must be skilled and must have knowledge of operation and general maintenance of DG sets and attending minor faults whenever arises.\n\n(iii) Operator must have the knowledge to maintain the daily log sheet as per proforma for DG sets. \n\n
6	4.02	(iv) The contractor / Operator must ensure the cleanliness in and around the surrounding of installation complete. The amount of Rs. 500/- for each installation will be recovered for Non-cleaning of installation etc.\n(v) Generator is to be operated during power failure from supply agency (TNEB) or as and when required by user / Department.\n(vi) The tradesmen / operator employed by the contractor must wear the uniform with name plate with name of contractor, under whom he is working. The amount of Rs. 1000/- for each installation per month will be recovered in case of Non-wearing the uniform with name plate.\n(vii) Common mobile phone with sim and without camera. Torch light, rain coat and gum boot to be provided to the duty operator by the contractor in all the locations. Expenditure incurred in this aspect is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.\n(viii) Responsibility of contractor to provide reliever and No additonal cost shall be claimed by the contractor. The rate quoted is deemed to include the pay and allowances of the reliever. Contractor must make payments to the employed personnel though AADHAR linked bank account only. Details of accounts with name shall be submitted alongwith the RAR claims.\n(ix) Date of weekly monthly maintenance should be entered in logsheet and signed by incharge of installation.\n(x) Insurance cover for the employed people is must and it is the responsibility of the contractor. Documentary evidence shall be submitted by the contractor to the department.
7	4.03	(xi) Cleaning of the DG set plant room and surrounding area of DG set installation area upto 05 RM including removal of the debris away from the installations including repairs / replacement of internal fittings & fixtures through out the contract period (from commencement to completion of the work).\n\n(xii) If penalty imposed for low power factor by TNEB for WTS location, same shall be recovered from the contractor during RAR payment. It is the responsibility of the contractor to maintain power factor above 0.95.\n
8	5	Excavation of soil up to 6cm depth / foot of the vegetation and cutting removing completely around the WTS & Magazine, localizer processing unit, DG set/sub station / installations, and depositing where directed to keep the installation area (external area beyond 06 RM from installation) clean and tidy all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. \n\nNote:- Contractor should take all the precautionary measures so that no damage is caused to the existing UG cables,pipes / Earth strips etc,. While carrying excavation any damage caused to the existing infrastructure at the installations, contractor shall make good the damaged / disturbed system and no additional / extra claim in this regard shall be entertained.
