Preparing existing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air blower to remove all loose dirt/foreign materials and applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer (Viscosity Grade Paving Bitumen of Grade VG-30) at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix and 4% stone dust conforming to specification for filler as per IRC-95, 1987 (filler) prepared in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to uniform smooth surfaces by mechanical paver and using with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair dual directional reflective cat eye of aluminium casted stud 100 x 100 mm having plastic ABS strip containing 31 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white/red/yellow one side provided with zinc plated nail of 12 mm dia and length 120 mm for fixing to road by hammering, complete all as specified and as directed. Supply and fixing in repairs Acrylic dual directional delinators having 100 mm dia cube corner intensity reflector (red/yellow) in strong plastic ABS body mounted over CRC steel tube 47 mm dia of 16 gauge sheet support of total height 600 mm having flared/welded foot for firm grip base with acrylic reflector and ABS body protected in a welded mesh cage. All steel part stove enemelled and baked to 120 C to make all weather resistant. Vertical support base has a plastic sheet reflector all around 100 mm with a CRC 18 gauge plate of 100 x 200 mm welded at the vertical pipe widely embedded in plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate block of size 20 cm x 20 cm x 25 cm including necessary earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Marking lines 2.5mm thick, dashes arrows etc of any description not exc 10cm width/girth on road surface using hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint mixed with radium glass beads @ 250 gms/Sqm with automatic machine to provide reflectivity and night vision (approximate temperature being 200° Celsius at the time of laying) including cleaning the surface by removing all dirt, dust & all other foreign matters, demarcation at site and traffic control, complete all as specified & directed.
