    Supply Of Unskilled Manpower For Pit Cleaning Of Hydrant Pits At Mumbai Fuel Farm For The Period 01.10.2019 To 31.03.2021.The Hydrant Facility Of Mumbai Fuel Farm Consists Of 153 Pits, 16 Low Points And 11 High Points Spread Over Bays Victor, Sierra, Kilo, Romeo, Golf And Alfa Bays. Due To Continuous Round The Clock Operation, The Pits May Get Accumulated With Dirt And Fuel. Since Aviation Fuelling Service Is Very Crucial In Terms Of Quality And Has Zero Tolerance For Contamination, All These Pits Needs To Be Cleaned Everyday As Per Our Qc Manual ( Aqcam ) . Preventive And Breakdown Maintenance Of Pits And Valve Chambers In The Apron Are Required To Be Carried Out Every Day In General Shift. Since The Maintenance Work Is To Be Done Whenever A Bay Is Taken Into Maintenance By Mial, The Existing Manpower Is Working In Strict Time Bounds. To Carry Out Pit Cleaning As Per Standing Instruction Si-8 Of Sim, Mumbai Fuel Farm, It Takes Around 5-7 Minutes Per Pit Depending On The Amount Of Dirt / Water In A Pit. Every Low Point And High Point Requires 10-15 Minutes To Be Flushed. Also Pit Cleaning Activity Is To Be Carried Out On Watch And Ward Basis With Prior Permission From Mial. Hence We Propose To Enter Into A Fresh Contract For Dedicated Manpower For Carrying Out Hydrant Pit Cleaning As Well As Low Point Or High Point Flushing At Apron As Per Scope Enclosed For The Period 01.10.2019 To 31.03.2021 Herewith As Annexure-I. Therefore A Minimum Of 1 Unskilled Manpower Per Day Is Required Keeping In View The Essential Activity Of Pit Cleaning. The Contractor Should Comply All Statutory Norms Like Min Wages, Pf, Esi, Prevalent Hr Practices And Other Miscellaneous Charges As Applicable.
