M&L for 50 mm thick (Consolidated thickness) dense asphaltic concrete laid in single layer, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with binder content as per job mix formula for stability of 1400 Kg subject to minimum 6% by weight of total mix and coarse aggregates (grading-II) including filler as specified using PMB-40 (Elastomeric Thermoplastic (SBS) based (IS-15462:2004) conforming to IRC-53-2002 complete all as specified and directed. \nNote: In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per Job mix formula nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rates are deemed to iclude for the same.

M&L for preparation of black top bituminous surface by scraping & cleaning of all dust, loose particles etc form surface by brushing/brooms and cleaning down by air compressor and applying evenly polymer modified bituminous emulsion in 3 coats by spraying machine through manufacture's applicators or their authorised person after interval of 5 hours of drying the surface by using 07 Kg per ten Sqm of emulsion to form an uniform surface complete all as specified and directed.

RUNWAY REHABILATION SCHEME(RRS):- M&L for repair/rehabilation of runway, taxi track etc (effected area of each patch not exceeding 330 Sqm) with ready mix materials procured locally from manufacturers/Hot mix plant with and including following procedure/methodology as under:- (a) Cleaning of damaged site:- The complete damaged material(including rigid/flexible pavement, earth etc) of the crater alongwith the portion over which the crack marked out to assess the damage including removal/disposal of the same at site as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) M&L for excavation/cleaning /shaping of crater including filling of approved earth as requiredand directed and rolling with 8-10 ton power roller. (c) M&L for filling the crater with 200mm compacted thickness of GSB complete all as specified and directed. (d) M&L for Wet Mix Macadam layer (WMM) 200mm compacted thickness complete all as specified and directed. (e) M&L for prime coat with emulsion ISI grade confirming to IS 8887 @ 0.7-1.0 kg/Sqm. (f) M&L for filling of upper portion (150mm) with DAC-I:- The upper portion of 150mm thickness is to be filled with Dens Asphaltic Concrete-I in three layers of 50mm each and compacted to achieve its maximum lab density. \nBeing Operational Requirements:- Note:- (i) The above Job/items of scope to be carried out/quoted by only agency/contractor who is the owner of hot mix plant as per Air HQ direction. (ii) The contractor shall be ready to execute of above items at any time (day/night), any point and location of Air Force Campus Maharajpur. (iii) The above mentioned entire scope of work shall be carried out in a short notice at any time (day/night) and to be completed within maximum 10 hrs from the time task intimated to contractor due to excercise of AF authorities. (iv) The contractor should have own T&P as required to complete the above task. (v) A ownership certificate is mandatory to submit at the time of quoting of tender. (vi) If contrctor fail to complete the task within above mentioned time, penality will be recovered @ Rs. 50,000/- per hours from dues.
