1. Routine Repair and maintenance of 02 no. Electrically and 05 no. manually operated gates of CHEP-II by way of complete cleaning of all parts by using petrol ,dhoti cloth, brush etc. after complete dismantling. Applying fresh coat of grease to all the parts of gate and then assemble it properly to both electrically. Oiling to chain sprocket arrangement and rollers which includes shaft, lock pin, roller, etc. Replacement of gear oil in reduction gearbox. Removal of old cadmium compound / grease from the steel wire rope, cleaning it properly and then applying fresh coat of cadmium compound. Cleaning of sill beam. Replacement of damaged/burnt out contractors switches, fuses, indicators etc. The job also includes complete dismantling of winch machine of manually operated gates which include pinion, gear, gun metal bushes, etc. and cleaning of all parts by using petrol ,dhoti cloth, brush etc. Applying fresh coat of grease to all the parts of winch machine of the manually operated gates and then assemble it properly. Oiling to rollers which includes shaft, lock pin, roller, etc. ,removal of old grease from the threaded stem rod, cleaning it properly and then applying fresh coat of grease. cleaning of sill beam. Checking the manual as well as electric operation of the gates by lifting and lowering it 2-3 times. The job includes cost of material, T&P items and labour engaged for the the execution of job. Complete job. 2. Repair and maintenance of penstock of CHEP-II by way of clearing of vegetation/jungle/bushes/branches of trees along the length of penstock from upstream to downstream of CHEP-II by way of cutting of vegetation, stacking and disposal of the same away from the site manually. Reconditioning of manhole of penstock by way of cleaning of old grease with the help of cotton/dhoti cloth. Cleaning and washing of the same with petrol to make them rust free, proper torquing of all the studs, nuts & bolts with the help of torque wrench, applying grease to studs, nuts & bolts, plugging of leakages to avoid loss of discharge as well as to maintain adequate pressure of penstock required in the power house to run turbines. The job includes cost of materials, T&P items like torque wrench etc. and labour charges (skilled and unskilled), transportation charges for the execution of job. Complete job
