Technical Requirement: The Basic Requirement Is As Follows: 1 Pair Shielded Twisted Pair Jacketed Cable. The Cable Shall Have Not Less Than 12 Twists Per Metre. Differential Characterestic Impedance Of Unloaded Line Shall Be 120 Ohm+ / - 10% For Sinusoidal Signal Of Frequency Between 0.75 Mhz To 3 Mhz. The Cross Sectional Area Of The Wire Shall Be Between 0.34 Sqmm ( Awg22 ) And 0.56 Sqmm ( Awg20 ) . Cable Attenuation Shall Be Less Than 15 Db / Km At 1.5 Mhz And Less Than 21 Db / Km At 3 Mhz. Differential Distributed Capacitance Of The Cable ( Wire To Wire ) Shall Not Exceed 46Pf / M At 1.5 Mhz. Capacitive Unbalance To The Shield Shall Not Exceed 1.5Pf / M At 1.5Mhz. Wherever Two Pairs Of Wire Are Carried In The Same Cable, The Signal Rejection From One Pair To Another Shall Be Superior To 45 Db In The Range From 0.75 Mhz To 3 Mhz. Transfer Impedence Of The Cable Shall Be Less Than 0.020 Ohm / M At 20 Mhz. Voltage Rating: 300 V Test Voltage : 2000 V Temperature Range: -40 Deg C To 90 Deg C. Nominal Cable Size ( N X Sqmm ) : 1 X 2 X 0.5 + 1 X 0.5 Conductor: Stranded, Tin Plated Copper To Bs 6360, Flexible Insulation: Dual Wall Insulation, Halogen Free, Flame Retardant To Iec 60332-3 ( Cat-A ) & Fire Resistant To Iec 60331 Screen: Tin Plated Copper Braid.
