    Tender For Roads & Drains -Excavation Without Backfilling:Earthwork In Excavation Below Ground Level In All Kinds Of Soils Up To Hard Strata To A Maximum Depth Of 1.5 M Below Existing Fgl; Staking Out Of Work As Per Specifications; Taking Spot Levels On Edges And Centerline At 3M C/C As Per Specifications; Bailing Out Of Water If Encountered; Providing Side Strutting As Required As Per Site Condition, Segregating The Excavated Earth In To Serviceable And Unserviceable Earth As Per Instructions Of Hpcl Eic; Stacking The Serviceable Earth Separately Within Plant Premises For Enabling Reuse For Backfilling Or Any Other Purpose As Per Instructions Of Hpcl; Carting Away And Disposing The Unserviceable Earth And Disposing Off Beyond Plant Boundaries To Suitable Dumping Spots/Unobjectionable Places; Obtaining Approval From Mining Department/Applicable Departments; Loading At Hpcl Premises; Transportation To Dumping Spots/Unobjectionable Places; Unloading And Levelling At Dumping Spots/Unobjectionable Places; Contractor Shall Ensure That There Are No Claims From Any Party Towards Dumping Of Earth; Including Backfilling In All Positions, At All Heights And Depths As Per Drawing And Specifications Wherever Required, In Foundation Pits And Other Places. The Measurement For Payment Shall Be For Theoretical Volume Only And It Shall Be The Volume Of The Block Of The Excavation Having Maximum Bottom Dimension Of The Foundation As Per Drawing And To Actual Depth.Quoted Rates Are Deemed To Include Transportation And Disposal Of Unserviceable Earth And Boulders For All Leads Outside Plant Boundary But Qtty Disposed Off Will Be Used In Earth Reconciliation After Deducting 30% For Voids.The Contractor Shall Take Into Account In His Rate, The Provision For Excess Excavation For Necessary Working Space, Side Slope. Existing Ground Level/T.L Shall Be Recorded Jointly Before Starting Of Excavation.
