    Replacement Of Int/Shafts,D/I Shafts And Motors In Eot Cranes.- 1).Take Out The Intermediate Shaft Identified By The Zonal Planning Incharge From The Spare Area And Tranport It To The Site. Transportation & Loading Facilities Shall Be Provided By The Indenter, However Slinging And Unloading At Site Is The Responsibility Of The Tenderer. 2). Park The Crane At The Place As Instructed By The Site Engineer.Lift The Intermediate Shaft On The Crane L.T. Platform. Before Starting The Job, Stoppers Are To Be Clamped On The Both Sides Of The Gantry Rails ,Red Flag, Red Light And Safety Banners Are To Be Displayed.Caution Boards Are To Be Hanged In The Adjacent Crane Operator¿S Cabin To Eliminate Any Chance Of Accidents Due To The Movement Of Crane In Working Area.3). If Itermediate Shaft Is Coming Under The Long Travel Motor, Then Take Out The Long Travel Motor And Brake Assembly From Its Positions And Keep Them On The L.T.Platform. 4). Remove The Existing Intermediate Shaft Of The Crane By Opening Out The Coupling Bolts And Opening Out The Plummer Blocks Top Half Cover. If Stiffeners Are Welded On The Surface Of Coupling Flange, They Are To Be Removed Completelyby Gas Cutting.Keep The Old Intermediate Shaft On L.T. Platform.5). Place The New Intermediate Shaft Matching The Sufaces And Couple It. Damaged Coupling Bolts And Split Steel Bushes Are To Be Replaced With New Bolts And Bushes.Bolts And Bushes Shall Be Supplied By The Indenter. Tighten The Bearing Sleeve Properly And Lock It.Close The Plummer Block After Packing The Grease. Weld The Stiffeners On The Surface Of The Coupling As Instructed By Site Engineer.Etc
