    Supply And Commissioning Of Instruments Under New Poly :- 114 The Steel Yard In Weighing Machine Shall Not Have Any Readily Moveable Part Except The Support For Proportional Weights. There Shall Be One More Stop To Prevent The Poises From Siding, Behind The Zero Mark .The Minimum Travel Of Steel Yard Shall Be 10Mm.The Top And Bottom Of The Guide And Pr Steel Yard Shall Be Fitted With Non Magnetic Material .When The Steel Yard Is Provided With Notches, These Shall Be Suitably Protected .The Value Of Smallest Division On The Minor Bar Shall Not Exceed 100G. The Value Of Smallest Graduation On Dials Or Minor Steel Yards And Wherever Possible Major Steel Yards Of Weighing Instrument Shall Be Such That It Corresponds To The Weights In The Series1, 2, 5 Or Its Decimal Multiples.In Case Of Extended Platform The Extension Of Platform On Either Side Of The Box Shall Not Be More Than 25%Of The Length Of The Box. The Range Of Balancing Arrangement For Daily Wear And Tear Shall Be 500G Maximum And 100G Minimum.The Proportional Weights Shall Be Hexagonal In Shape With A Slot Of Suitable Size To Allow Them Being Placed On The Counter Balance. The Counter Balance And All Loose Proportional Weights Shall Be Identified With The Machine. The Proportional Weights Shall Be Made Of Cast Iron Of Grade Fg150 Of Is:210 Or A Power Of 10 Of Any Of These Weights.G Capacity 115 Platform Weighing Machine.
