    Tender For One Time Service Order For Pre Ta Exchanger Jobs In Cdu Ii - Overhauling, Repairs And Testing Of He With Bundle Pull Out - Above 35 Upto 45 Shell Id Long Description: 1. Provide Necessary Flushing Steam Connection And Install Necessary Blinds Before Opening The Exchanger / Cooler.2. Erect System Scaffolding As Required For Safe Working.Caffolding Shall Be Erected As Per Procedure Mentioned In Annexure-12.3. Remove Insulation Over The Flanges If Required To Facilitate Removal Of Bolts. After Job Completetion, Reinsulate Using The Insulating Materials.4. Drop All The Components Viz Channel Cover, Shell Cover, Channel Section And Floating Head Cover. All Bolts Shall Be Recovered And Serviced And Serviced For Reuse.5. Make Proper Rigging Arrangement And Pull Out The Bundle. The Bundle Shall Be Properly Supported On Bundle Supports / Wooden Sleepers.6. Clean The Tube Bundle Externally By Scraping, Wire Brushing, Water Washing; Clean Tubes Internally By Rodding, Water Washing And Air Blowing.7. Ensure That The Test Jig Is In A Good Working Condition To Carry Out Shell Test As Required. Minor Repairs, If Any Shall Be Carried Out On The Jig And Working Condition Of Bolts And Packing Shall Be Ensured.8. Clean The Shell And All Other Coimponents Throughly By Wire Brushing, Water Washing And Scraping As Advised By Job Engineer And Reinstall The Bundle.9. Repair Tube Leaks / Gaskets By Way Of Shell Test And Tube Test. The Tubes Which Are Leaking Shall Be Plugged. 10. Coordinate With The Agency Undertaking Retubing Jobs. Retubing Is Not Part Of The Present Scope Of This Order.11. If Any Leak Arises While Carrying Out Shell/Tube Test Due To Improper Gasket Replacement, Improper And Uneven Tightening And Other Reasons Which Are Attributed To Agency, No Seperate Payment Is Made For Any Repeat Work.12 Etc.
