Tender For Industrial Safety Helmet to IS 2925 : 1984 as per annexure-A Annexure -A Industrial Safety Helmetto IS : 2925 : 1984 It shall be as per IS: 2925-1984, made of high quality virgin HDPE material the design shall bedomeshaped. The shell shall design in such a manner to take on clip on accessories viz . Ear defenders, faceshield and welding visor etc. A) The Mass of helmet shall be 400 gm plus/minus 10 percent. B) Helmet shouldhave ratchet ( knob) type headband shall be not less than 30mm in width and so designed that adjustment to anysize may be readily made should be fitted with anti-concussion tapes secured at least at 6 anchoring points,forming a cradle shall not exceed than 300mm sq. Helmet shall be tested and approved by BIS 2935-1984 andCLI Mumbai/DGMS. Manufacturer should provide warranty certificate each helmet shall be legibly and indeliblymarked with the following information 1) Manufacturers name or trade name, 2) ISI Mark,3) Workshop/C. Rly logo( Screen printed) on the front of helmet, C) It should withstand the performance test such as heat resistance,shock absorption resistance, penetration resistance, electrical resistance, ( leakage current shall not allow inexcess of 3 mA) D) It should have a chain strap permanently attached to the shell with fastening device to adjustand maintain tension. E) It should have ventilation holes in the shell to permit circulation of air inside the helmet.the diameter of holes shall not exceed 6mm nor the edges of adjacent holes closer than 15mm. the minimum no.of holes on each side shall be not less than 3 and total aggregate area of holes. F) Size of helmet shall be of530mm to 620mm+/- 10mm as per IS 2925:1984 Note : 1 ) White Color of helmet-15 Nos.,2) lemon Yellow color-10 Nos,3) Yellow color-10 Nos, 4) Blue color-10 Nos., 5) Brown color-270 Nos, 6) Cray color-10 Nos. 7) Orangecolor- 10 Nos.
