    Tender For Scrapping Rust Etc From Rails By Wire Brushing, Scrapping, Cleaning And Painting The Same With Anti-Corrosive Paints I.E.Two Coats Of Bituminous Black Paint Confirming To Is-9862-1981. The Painting Is To Be Done On Web, Foot, Non-Gauge Face & Bottom Surface Of Rails Excluding Gauge Face Surface To Achieve 100 Micron D-T Per Coat And As Per Specification Laid Down In Is-9862-1981. After Scrapping Of Rails The Initial Reading Of Alcometer To Be Measured And Recorded. Final Thickness Of Paint Measured Shall Not Be Less Than 200 Micron After Deducting The Initial Reading Of Alcometer On Bare Rail Surface. The Bituminous Black Paint Shall Be Purchased From A Supplier Approved By Rdso / Rly And The Bituminous Black Paint Shall Be Got Approved From The Engineer-In-Charge Or His Representative In Advance , Etc.
