The Assignment Aims At The Restoration Of The Roofs Of The Most Valuable Buildings On The Noordermershuissite, In Particular The Historic Roofs Of The Front Building On The Kattendijkdok-Oostkaai, Of The Machine Hall From 1877, The Accumulatortoren And Machinezaal From 1914 Along The Indiastraat. For The Roofs, A Cleaning And Restoration Of Wooden And Metal Roof Structures And A Renewal Of The Roof Coverings In Zinc Are Provided. The Exterior Joinery Of The Roof Lanterns And The Cornices Is Renewed To The Original Model. The Disappeared Crowning Of The Accumulator Tower Is Reconstructed. The Upper Roof Part Of The Facades In Brick Is Cleaned And Restored, Whereby Unstable Parts Are Re -Metal. In Addition, In The Context Of Mushroom Control At The Location Of The Former Studio, The Non -Original Building Volumes Are Demolished To Prevent Further Affects By Zwam And Fungi.
