Tenders are invited for Construction of a 2-Storey 6-Unit Classroom Block with Ancillary Facilities (Phase I: 3-Unit Classroom Ground Floor) at Musuku M/A Basic School Closing Date: 22nd August, 2025 Price of Tender Document: Gh¢1000.00 No. of Lots: 1 Tender Description: Ref. No: GEMA/DPAT7/02 Proposed Contract Description: Construction of a 2-Storey 6-Unit Classroom Block with Ancillary Facilities (Phase I: 3-Unit Classroom Ground Floor) at Musuku M/A Basic School Funding Source: DACF-RFG Contract Duration: Five (5) Calendar Months Tender Security: 2% of Tender Price Additional Information: 1. The Government of the Republic of Ghana, acting through the Ga East Municipal Assembly (the Employer) in Consultation with the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya Constituency (the Financier), intends to apply portions of budgetary allocation from the National Health Insurance Scheme and also portion of its budgetary allocation from the Districts Performance and Assessment Tools (DPAT) under District Assemblies Common FundResponsiveness Factor Grant (DACF-RFG) component VII of funding to eligible payment under contracts for which this Invitation for Tenders (IFT) is issued. Any payments made under the proposed works contracts will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the funding and conditions to the disbursement of funding. No party other than the Government, the Employer and the Financier shall derive any rights from the funding or have any claim to the proceeds of the funding. 2. The Works Contract expected to be awarded under this IFT are with requirements detailed in the description. 3. This IFT follows Notices/Bulletins for this project that appeared in local newspapers of July 25, 2025 Edition and Public Procurement Authority (PPA) website www.ppaghana.org, 4. The Ga East Municipal Assembly now invites sealed Tenders (Tenders) from eligible and qualified entities or persons (Tenderers) to provide the works referenced above. 5. More details on the requirements are provided in the Bill of Quantities, Specifications and Performance Requirements, and Drawings included in the Tender Documents accompanying this Invitation for Tenders, IFT. 6. This IFT is open to all eligible and qualified Tenderers who wish to respond to the relevant Tender Documents. Qualification requirements are as described in Section III. Evaluation and Qualification Criteria. 7. A Contractor will be selected under a Competitive Tendering Method through the evaluation procedures which are described in the Tender Documents, in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2003 Act 663, as Amended Act 2016, Act 914 and Act 1139, Act 2025 which are provided on the PPA website at www.ppa.gov.gh. 8. It is mandatory that Tenderers include in their tenders the underlisted statutory requirements for the Works described above: Valid Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing Certificate, Class D2K2 or better Valid Business Registration Certificate or Valid Certificate of Incorporation Valid Public Procurement Authority Registration Certificate Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate Valid Labour Clearance Certificate Valid Contractors/Suppliers Registration or payment receipt with the Ga East Municipal Assembly 9. Eligible Tenderers interested in obtaining the Tender Documents may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents at the following address below. 10. A complete set of Tender Documents in English (and additional copies on tenderers request) may be purchased from the Ga East Municipal Assembly from 8:30am to 5:00pm local time at Abokobi, near Presby Women Center during working days by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢1,000) for each lot. The method of payment will be by Cash only payable to the Ga East Municipal Health Directorate (for project ref no.: GEMA/MP-NHIS/01) and to the Ga East Municipal Assembly (for project ref no.: GEMA/DPAT7/02) at Abokobi Accra 11. A Pre-Tender meeting shall not take place in relation to this IFT. 12. Electronic submission of tenders shall not be permitted in relation to this IFT. 13. The deadline for submission of Tenders is August 22, 2025 at 11:30am local time. Tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before the time specified. 14. Late Tenders will be rejected outright and returned un-opened to the Tenderers. 15.
