The Treatment Area Is 16.8 Hectares In Size, And It Was Salvaged Logged In The Winter Of 2024. This Area Has Been Broken Into Two Treatment Units,10.0 Hectares Has Been Categorized As High Tree Density, And The Remaining 6.89 Hectares Has Been Categorized As Low Tree Density (More Open Canopy With Less Thinning And Pruning To Do).The Previously Completed Salvage Logging Operation Was Harvest Using Process-At- The-Stump, This Created Litter And Debris Throughout The Site. The Intent Of This Contract Is To Incorporate Above Mentioned Services To Reduce Fine, Large And Coarse Woody Debris To Prescription Standards. Services May Include Danger Tree Falling, Understorey Thinning, Removal Of Ladder Fuels To A Height Of 3 Metres, And Reduction Of Fine And Large Woody Debris Found On Site This May Be Done By Some Sort Of Mechanical Means Such As An Excavator With A Rake To Build Piles.
