Tenders are invited for Transportation Service for GIZ African Union Office Closing Date: 12 Aug 2025 Type: Consultancy The GIZ African Union Office headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with further staff based in South Africa, Ghana and Germany provides services and support in the areas of procurement, financial management, events and travel, human resources, internal operations, communication and portfolio management to all GIZ programmes and projects that are implemented in partnership with the African Union. This Terms of Reference (ToR) outlines the requirements for the provision of professional and inclusive transportation services for GIZ AU. The services will support a variety of mobility needs including airport transfers, daily city commutes, and intercity travel. Emphasis is placed on reliability, environmental sustainability (favoring the use of electric vehicles), and accessibility for people with disabilities. The objective is to contract a qualified transportation service provider capable of delivering safe, efficient, environmentally friendly, and accessible transportation services, mainly from and to the Addis Ababa international airport, staff residence and GIZ AU office located at Minaye Office Park, Floor 6-8, Flamingo Area, Off Bole Road which requires 24hrs service including weekend and night movements. The provider must offer a fleet suitable for various group sizes and ensure that all larger vehicles are equipped with ramps or lifts to accommodate individuals with mobility impairments The assignment is anticipated to run from 12.09.2025 to 31.8.2027. The contract may be extended based on performance and operational needs. Scope of Services Airport Transfers Timely pick-up and drop-off services for airport terminals. Real-time flight tracking and adjustments for delays or early arrivals. Optional meet-and-greet service with signage. Access for Addis Ababa Bole International airport preferably from the inside of the airport. Clearly hold GIZ AU Logo during airport pickup and confirm the passengers name. City Rides and Daily Commutes On-demand and scheduled transportation within the city. Availability during peak and non-peak hours. Real-time GPS tracking Intercity Travel Safe and comfortable transportation services between cities. Flexibility for one-way, round-trip, and overnight journeys.
