Expression of Interest for Active Citizenship Labs (ACL) - Round 2. Deadline Thursday, 31. Jul 2025 Background of ACL Replication Initiative The ACL model was initially developed to support civic engagement in Lebanese municipalities where formal local governance structures had weakened or collapsed, and a second round is underway. The Labs offered a flexible, context-adapted framework to: · foster active citizenship and local leadership. · encourage practical civic engagement. · address governance challenges through collaborative local solutions Given the success of the first round, SDLG will launch a special edition targeting Lebanon-based organisations working directly with Syrian communities in Lebanon , to build their capacities and collaborate on designing and implementing community-driven civic engagement initiatives geared towards local governance. How to apply We invite expressions of interest from civil society organisations that are: Based inside Lebanon and working directly with Syrian communities aged between 18-45 years.
