Closing Date: 31 Jul 2025 Type: Consultancy ASAD has its headquarters in Granada, Spain, from where it coordinates the implementation of cooperation projects in Guatemala, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Guinea-Bissau, while also supporting the implementation of Education and Social Action projects in Andalusia. The organization has been working in Guinea-Bissau since 2007, primarily in the areas of education, basic infrastructure development, entrepreneurship, and food sovereignty. ASAD is currently implementing projects in four regions of the country: Bubaque Island, Bolama, Gabú, and Bafatá. Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the technical supervision of infrastructure construction and rehabilitation projects in sub-Saharan Africa, with an emphasis on Portuguese-speaking countries, preferably in rural or island contexts similar to Guinea-Bissau. Demonstrable technical specialization in the design, coordination, and supervision of infrastructure construction and rehabilitation projects, with the ability to advise, validate, and optimize processes in this area of intervention. Strong technical analysis skills and specialized report preparation skills, including diagnostics, systematization of experiences, and improvement proposals within the scope of their expertise. Willingness to travel frequently to rural and hard-to-reach areas and to remain in the field for extended periods. Advanced proficiency in Portuguese (B2-C1) and preferably in Kriol, both oral and written, enabling fluid communication with local teams, counterparts, and beneficiary communities. Ability to lead highly specialized work teams in the development of infrastructure construction and rehabilitation projects.
